Yea i was going for Hughes and i knew he had like a 70% chance or more. Gracie is just old w/ an older style, Hughes has been in the octagon fighting the newer styles that pretty much own the old take down and submit which Gracie was famous for. Hughes can do tons of styles and platforms almost at anytime and case, where Gracie studyies and plays an offense/ defense platform. Hughes can just go in there and defend and attack almost anything at any given moment against any sized fighter. He is a true mixed martial artists.

Damn, just now watched UFC 60. I can't believe Gracie didn't submit when Hughes had that arm lock on, dudes arm was bent so far and yet his face was calm as can be.. I dont see Gracie ever submitting. The fight was a lil "better" than I was afraid once I had heard the fight was stopped. Gracie just wasn't defending himself once the punches started getting thrown, so no choice but to stop the fight. Good fight tho, and I think Gracie can still be a pretty impressive force, even at almost 40..

Can't wait til 61, Shamrock vs. Ortiz and Sylvia vs. Arlofski (sp?).. Should be bad ass.

Shamrock will just get owned. I dunno why he even bothers anymore.

The only reason I disagree is because shammrock has more to prove rt himself ( fact that he hopes he can be tito) should be a good fight though... It really depends on how seriously tito takes this fight ..well see july juss my

I think Tito takes every fight seriously. Shamrock has decent conditioning, but I just don't think he has enough all around talent frankly. The man is a good fighter, but I think Tito has significantly better ground game and can stand up with Shamrock no problem.

Good point... if tito can take it to the ground fairly early in the fight I dont know if Shamrock will be able to recover.. it depends on who wants it more i guess

I don't think he ever had the upper hand when he fought Tito. I feel bad for his fighters on TUF3. Tito's fighters all said they got amazing training and Shamrock's fighters really got the shaft. Oh well Tito will give him his due in a few weeks.

I wasn't talking about the 1st Tito fight. but he did knock him down onc when he was up against the cage.
Tito kicked his ass but his face was swole the fook up.

after watching last nights season finale (and season) of UF3 I've lost my respect for Ken Shamrock. He didn't teach the kids a damn thing during their stay and all he wanted to do is get a piece of Tito the whole time. Tito will probalby own him again.

gracie is old but u have to give it up to the man for going toe to toe with a man like hughes at the age he is at. he is still a legend and one of the fathers of mix martial arts. shamrock is still badass in my eyes, but he gases out really fast...he needs to fire that body builder of his and just work on conditioning

Shamrock is getting old but still a great fighter, Tito is in his prime which means Ortiz should win.

I think Ed won that fight. IMO.
    Camaros? I'd lose on purpose.
