PS3 coming out in Nov. confirmed

I know this has been posted about before, but now it is confirmed by sony.

Japn will get the system first and the next week the u.s. and europe will also get the ps3

20gb ps3 - $300

60gb ps3 - $500

not bad at all in my book. I will be buying atleast 5 or 6 and maybe more if I can get a bigger loan

I will eventually buy a PS3 just for Gran Turismo 5 and Tourist Trophy 2.

I only have a Ps2 because I play Gt4 and TT. Besides that I dont need a console lol

Your pricing is wrong my friend. It is $499 for the 20GB and $599 for the 60GB version.

With the upcoming price drop of the 360 to $330 or so, and the release of the Nintendo Wii ($200-250?) You'll be crazy to spend that much money on the PS3.

Are they still planning on not letting people reserve copies? I heard Gamestop was doing that so there wouldn't be massive hording of the PS3's like the 360's were.

Hard drives + Storage space isn't worth shit, I don't see why they don't bundle 100 GB + 200 GB hd's... such an Apple scam (as seen with i pods)

cuz ps3 is blu ray...the expected price for a regular blu ray player will be 700-1000. so its a fair price for the ps3 with the hdd n all.

No one seems to realize that. A true HD or Blu-Ray Dvd playet itself is going ot be around 500. But in this case your getting that + alooooot more.

the way i see it, you gotta be hardcore to pay 500 on a system..personally i'm getting a Wii...I will play the ps3 at my friend's house, lol...i'll probably try and source 3-4 Wii's though and sell all but one...gotta make the system pay for itself, lol..i may get one ps3 to sell...dunno yet there...
