Age of Empires 3

Im a huge fan of the C & C series (Generals , Tiberian Sun, Red Alert, etc). I played AOE I a long ass time ago, and decided to invest in the Age of Empires III collectors box set. 44.99 at Circuit City. (lowest ive found it).

I must say, the collectors box set is fucking amazing. Comes with the soundtrack, huge poster, hard backed game art book, players guide, etc etc etc. The game only was 49.99, I picked up the box set for 44.99!!! Upon loading the game up and starting to play, I love how complex the game is. Its not just building war factorys and tanks. The game is very involved and is something youll have to learn. The replay value of this game is A+ since there is so much to learn. Ive been practicing in skirmish mode and have barely touched the single player missions. I highly reccomend getting this game if you interested in real time strategies. However, make sure you have a fairly quick system and a nice video card. It makes things run much smoother.

I was in love with AOE2 age of kings. I owned all online with the franks. I bought aoe3 but you're right.. I need to upgrade come stuff before I can really enjoy it.

If you play an RTS singleplayer only.... then you have missed out on what RTS is for... Online competitive gameplay.

dude your a dam idiot, i mean your jsut fucking stupid. I played AOE to play the computer the online play is to boring. People play the gay rules, and use hacks. Any game like this be in real time strategy games, or first person shooter games, and 9/10 hacked online. So i buy RTS games liek AOE and EE 1 & 2 to play the campigns and the computer not to play online.

I have really liked all the AoE games, and have owned them all, including AoM. However I've only played online (matchmaker type deal) ONCE and it was such a sucky experience that I never did it again. However, with this and Command and Conquer Generals, Battle for Middle Earth and AoE 2, I have a friend who I play with online alot, its just not vs. each other.

NO SHIT!!!!!! I am sorry i dont sit there and wack off to a game all day. The only reason i play them is to play LAN games with friends, and to play the computer when i need to fill time.
