    Red face ADMIN: Import Atlanta Counter-Strike

    Hey admins, I propose we create an Import Atlanta Counter-Strike server. I was playing the game last night and almost all of the 15+ players were talking imports and I had an epiphany. We could create a server to advertise the web site and allow people to get together in real time for car chat. There are over 5k CS server in the world, and this game has been number one for over 5 years. The amount of players is mind-boggling.

    Servers can be bought for anywhere from $20 - $50 /mo. I am willing to help out on this. Also I can administrate the server as well as get others to admin as well. I know there are a ton of CS players just on this site that I've ran into.

    Id be totally down for the lan party, but can we play something else thats not bf2, bf2 sucks. cs is awesome, source isnt bad, quake, ut, whatevers clever, bf2 sucks. But anyone got an extra copy ?

    Well i mean let me get a copy so i can whoop up on you guys, but the game still sucks . I need to update my rig though to run it better. What do you guys think i should do? I currently have a 2.4ghz p4 oced to 3.0, 512 ddr, 9600xt agp. Should i just upgrade to a better agp card, or go amd64? Cause the 3.0 should still be pretty good in games but i dunno.

    3500 or 3700 should be resonably priced.

    X850XT is like 160 right now, cant beat that

    mobo to match

    and 2gb of low latency ram.

    thats all reasonably priced, if u want to spend more.. just go higher up latter

    i won't have my comp up n running yet...i sent my board out to asus...so thats gonna take like 3 weeks for them to fix and return that shiet to me...

    but in summer im gonna get me a new comp...gonna go AMD64 FX

    Anyone going to wait for the intel conroe or amd am2? If i upgrade in the summer i think im going to wait for those two to be out and see how they do. Word is the conroe kills even the fastest amd fx by a large margin, so hmm.

    i don't know if it will kill even the amd fx...that has yet to be seen....but i don't think it will...

    as to video card...im just gonna stick with my nvidia geforce 7800 for now...dun got enough money for a new video card..since the amd 64 fx gonna be so expensive
