Like I said, in the playoffs (and Barkley echoed this too on tuesday) The Bench means LESS than in the regular season. You play your STARS in the playoffs. WB and KD will play major minutes. They are the best 1-2 punch in the league. And, Clippers for 2 straight games got CRUSHED on the boards (52-36)
If it wasnt for a complete CP3 shooting explosion in game 1 (which wont happen again), OKC would be up 2-0. Sorry. CP3 isnt hitting 8 three pointers in a row. They dont shoot that well, you should know this, you watch them.
Also, RW was cheating on defense in the first game, and CP3 made him PAY. BIG TIME. He did not do that last night, he didnt go under screens. He is much faster than Cp3 so he can go over the top and get back on defense which is what he did and it was effective. Blake and DJ wont get easy baskets , Ibaka and Perkins are doing good jobs keeping them away from the basket.
Still feel OKC is the better team. They have RW and KD on the floor for 40 minutes. Hard to beat. I worry about them vs Spurs because Spurs have 3 HOFers and 2 or 3 other all stars. OKC better finish them QUICK because they may get gassed.

And lastly, I HATE CP3 now. Hes in the same league as Wade. Hes a whiner, a flopper, a bitcher and a moaner. That Adams Tech was NOT a flagrant foul at all. He goes to the ground then gets up like hes going to do something but all he is doing is looking for the Refs to bail him out. Hes like Griffin, such a FAKE TOUGH GUY.
He likes to put his hands all over other PG, but if you do it to him, he acts like its a crime.
Hes a typical gym rat, plays physical, then gets pissed when you play the same way back.

Okc is the better team, they have 2 superstars the Clippers cant answer for. Hell they cant even stop Ibaka.
The problem with OKC (and ive said it from day 1) is that the Clippers have Doc Rivers. You remember that argument you made (or should i say excuses) from last year about VDN not being good enough? Thats how Scott Brooks is. He doesnt coach. He doesnt call plays. When WB is GOOD WB, OKC is almost unbeatable. When he plays ragged and on the edge, they lose. KD should have posted CP3 and forced a double team, its basketball 101. He didnt, he tried to let them do what they always do which is shoot their way to victory.
All these adjustments, and despite all that bad coaching, WB still had a WIDE OPEN look to win the game.
You guys are not dominating anything. its not even close. You need your starters and bench players to cover 2 PEOPLE. Do you realize how shallow the Clippers are? If CP3 didnt have the shooting game of his LIFE in game 1, you would be looking at a SWEEP. YOu realize that right? IF CP3 has a game like he does in any other game of the playoffs , you would be down 3-0 going into game 4.

Basketball is a team game. Just because your team and situation is better, doesn't 100% always make it true that you are better.
Same goes with Westbrook and curry. Curry is a better point guard than Westbrook, but his team is much better so everyone thinks he's better. Curry's offense just doesn't trump the best defensive PG in the NBA in cp3, we just seen that. (The same point guard who guarded the MVP of the league in this series, and will have to guard the best overall offensive PG in the league in Tony Parker)
I'm on record saying, Chris Paul is the new Gary Payton of the NBA defensively.
If the ref's didn't call tick tack fouls on him most early games in series, the games would be a lot different. They finally let him get into curry defensively in the first round, let's see what happens from here on out. The beginning is over.......

I think that's obvious which two would be better. I think it's time you guys really see what Paul can do in crunch time playoff games but with a better team than the past and better coaching..... FYI if im right, it doesnt make me some supreme basketball god, it just makes me lucky. I think the teams are interesting matchups, but , at the end of the day, if WB and KD can play 40+ minutes, like LBJ did last night vs BKN, I dont think Clippers can win. Their bench cant guard KD or WB. They got lucky for 9 minutes in game 4. If you watch that video, the exploitation was there. The Thunder had the advantage, but, give credit to the clippers, they EXECUTED so much better (a ton of that is for Chris Paul arguably the BEST leader on the floor today).
They didnt dominate the THunder, they threw a weird matchup to them, and OKC will adjust and be better IMO. Brooks doesnt adjust on the fly, he waits a game, then adjusts.
DOC is prob the BEST adjustment guy on the fly, next to Pop

I feel like KD relies on floor spacing. Melo can do more in the half court and also works better in traffic. Kd needs space and needs to run.
