Not good enough to affect a basketball other than scoring a lot of points on A LOT of shots.

I think your beloved Spurs might wanna worry about Dallas. Much more than we gotta worry about Golden State that's for sure!

I love Aldridge. He takes advantage of you not having a PF that can guard him on their roster. He's crushed them these 2 games! Looks like they will be moving on, unless harden has a 2012 okc vs spurs series again. He has been down 2-0 before and went CRAZY. Let's see what happens though. Looks like portland is too much for them though!

Let's see if he does his Western Conference Finals impression again like he did against the spurs.

San Antonio looking OLD against Dallas. Can they move to the next round?

if LMA keeps balling out like this, the Blazers are going to be champions.

Houston doesn't have a power forward. And they don't play good defense at all. Portland isn't going anywhere..... Not deep enough for the great teams in the west.

I would expect DJ to cover Aldridge which would be interesting.

I cannot say D12 is a "defensive" player anymore. He is borderline terrible

Him or Blake will do fine against him. Just like the other times..... We are 9th in defense. Our team defense is pretty good. Hard to tell because we put up more points than everybody else in the NBA. But aldridge would never beat us alone like he beat houston.

    He's great though!

If LMA shoots that well, no one can guard him. His jumper is almost unguardable. Blake Griffin I do not think would want to guard this version of LMA. Id almost take a gamble and play DJ on him, but then you get into Foul Trouble

But I agree, im not sure POR plays enough defense.

We would score 120 on them a game, he would have to shoot like that JUST to stay in a series with us. And when their bench comes in..... well.... you should know whats going to happen then.

This is the same LMA that has played all season, houston just simply doesn't play defense. He's been doing this all season, its just more obvious against bad defensive teams. Blake does great against him, and every year especially this one, blake's defense has got better.

    1. Is S.A. in any danger of losing their series? monte ellis and crew werent there for those "10 straight" wins...im sure they dont care about that!

    2. Is houston strong enough to come back from down 0-2 at home and having to go to hostile rip city?

    3. Can chicago score enough points to beat Washington? And can the "DPOY" play better post defense against NeNe. He doesn't look like he deserved the award now does he?

    4. Can the run and gun clippers make it out of the first round against the sharp shooting warriors?

    5. How will the raptors play in brooklyn?
But I agree, im not sure POR plays enough defense.

We have been dominating this season. We had a regular season full of injuries. Still ended up with the 3rd seed.

We are the most talented and deepest team in the NBA.

San Antonio and Oklahoma City will have much more to worry about than us!!!!!!

GSW where there the ENTIRE WAY and damn near pulled out a W. I would not be happy if Im a Clipper fan.

The Splash Bros shot TERRIBLY, Curry was 3/8 but the team was 6/31............

If the GSW shoot 1 better 3, this game is NOT A CLIPPER W. I would not be excited, same with Hawks fans. Its only 2-1. You lose next game, its a best of 3 series. Celebrate when its 3-1, not 2-1.

See Sinfix's comment above? I'm guessing by your comments vteckidd that you called it a early night, missed the second half, woke up and watched the highlights on ESPN in the morning.

We have learned a lot of things from Game 1-3 that we will use to win Game 4 in convincing fashion. Blake is virtually unstoppable at multiple moments in each game.

His 3rd quarter last night told us EXACTLY that. Mark Jackson was feeling a GREAT deal of pressure to ride his starting unit out the remainder of the game, even when doc river's goes to his bench late in the 3rd quarter!

Doc has shown NO FEAR of the warriors at any point in this series. He doesn't ride a hot hand longer than he normally would. The entire team has played their same minutes for the most part. He won't adjust that. We are ALL AROUND at every postiion on the court more domination than GS. He prob kept paul and DJ out a little too long for GS to hit a few shots and make a final push. But the final result wasn't curry/paul's last play.... it was GSW inability to defend on the other end.

Chris Paul defense and blake griffins dominance has been the difference in this series. I WISH people would stop acting like Curry is just "shooting bad"..... paul's defense has been DOMINATING and too much for curry to overcome. Hell, half the time he is too pressured to even get off a "clean look".

And don't worry vteckidd and sinfix..... im not the only one who is watching......
Griffin stampedes Warriors once again « NBA.com | Hang Time Blog with Sekou Smith

Blake Griffin was back to destroying the Warriors and anything else in his way Thursday night, including the mood inside Oracle Arena and Golden State’s brief hold on home-court advantage in the series.

Maybe even some actual dishes, too.

Awesome, hopefully enlightening, an ascension to the next level of stardom — it’s been that kind of rampage and we’re only three games in. Before the first round opened in Los Angeles, Warrior Klay Thompson called Griffin a bull in a china shop, a flopper and generally out of control.

Blake Superior answered by tearing through only one thing: the opponent.

Griffin made commendable strides to his game all regular season, even if too few people outside the league itself noticed because they were fixated on the sparkly Lob City storyline. But his play in these playoffs is the kind of performance that should make his improvements impossible to overlook. The general public is finally seeing Griffin’s offensive arsenal expand miles at a time.

As bad as Game 1 was with the six fouls in 19 minutes, Griffin still had 16 points in that time and made six of 13 attempts.

In Game 2, he had a playoff career-best 35 points on 13-of-17 shooting in 30 minutes.

Thursday night, Griffin had 15 points in 20 first-half minutes and finished with 32 points (on 15-for-25 shooting) and eight rebounds in 44 minutes as the Clippers took a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series with a 98-96 victory.

“He’s just been great,” Clippers coach Doc Rivers said. “He’s making jump shots. The bank shot that he’s added to his game facing the basket has just taken him to a different level because it’s very difficult now to guard him. If you get up on him, he goes around you. If you back off of him, he can use the glass. I keep going back to his work. Tomorrow, we won’t do much, but he’ll be in the gym. I can guarantee you that. It’s just who he is. He’s very hungry.”

The Warriors have reason to be concerned with the Griffin matchup every direction they turn. What’s most concerning is that they are defending him according to the game plan … and it doesn’t matter. Griffin is crashing through them anyway.

Like a bull in a china shop.

“He’s playing at a high level right now,” Golden State coach Mark Jackson said. “He’s making plays, he’s making shots. We forced him to be a jump shooter, he’s making jump shots. On the block, he’s aggressive. He’s having an outstanding series, capping off an outstanding year. We’re giving him different looks. He’s making tough shots.”

And my above comments are only against the warriors. Depending on the opponent depends on what we should do next series.

Watch for Crawford to have a BIG game 4. Jamal not Jordan, lol. He is due for a big shot, crowd quieting game!

If only society condemned rape, murder, child abuse, domestic violence and robbery with the same compassion that it does bigotry.

I wonder if Magic boycotts the games of convicted felons or wife beaters like Mayweather.

Sick to my fucking stomach of this politically correct bullshit. Having an opinion, even a very hateful one, is not a crime.

REALLY? Seriously? As much as people talk about my clippers..... when is houston gonna be recognized as a "decent" team. It's no big deal to go up 3-1 on them..........

Games 1-3..... curry had never seen on ball pressure like that before. game 4 he got good looks....... he has been good in this series, its just 3 games he was locked up. 1 game he found ways to get his open looks he normally gets...

lets see the paul/curry matchup in game 5..... now THIS is a BIG game tomorrow!!!!

An old mans private conversation about black ppl is not a big deal, not a big deal at all.

I long for the day when black ppl condemn a criminal mentality with the same disdain as they do a "slavery mentality".

Old black men are just as prejudice as hateful as old white men. Theyre entitled to thier opinions. I dont care what anyone thinks of me until thier ACTIONS affect my life.

My thoughts on Sterling to those that care:
    1. Reprehensible, terrible comments. Im not black, so I dont know how to tell black people that his words dont hurt, or to move on, etc. Ive never been denied a job because of my race or treated differently (in things that matter) because of the color of my skin. But, as a white male, who grew up around a very culturally diverse population (hawaii, boston, ATl, military), I cant imagine how this day and age people have these views. Especially someone who has to work globally with something like an NBA franchise.

    2. Having REALLY thought this over, the players should not sit out, they should play. Basketball is bigger than some 80 year old bigots comments (that were made in private) to his mistress who is obviously a money grubbing whore bag. The team is more important , the guys they have in the locker room mean more than Sterlings words. In the offseason, decide if you want to play for him again. If you do, great, if not, so be it.

    3. Sterling should NOT be stripped of ownership. Thats pandoras box, and I think Cuban articulated that the best. Sterling was illegally recorded in PRIVATE, it doesnt excuse his comments, it doesnt make it better, but you cant just start taking things away from people because they expressed their own "legal" views in their home or private living quarters. Its just not American. Its Freedom of Speech. Its HATEFUL despicable speech, but its protected none the less. Sterling didnt commit a crime.

    4. The Players/Coaches/Fans all have the last say. Hit him in his wallet. Boycott until he leaves, Doc wont come back, Fans stay away. Dont renew season tickets, dont buy tickets to games, dont come to Clipper media functions, etc. He would step down at that point he would have no choice.

    5. People like him get what they deserve in the end.

    6. You better be careful what you wish for, because there are some DESPICABLE people out there, and I guarantee you there are other owners with worse PUBLIC history. Look up some of Mikail Prokorovs dealings.

He is not free from the repercussions of being an NBA Owner and saying these things. But you cant just take ownership from him, he should be forced out by market forces and shunned, banned, etc.

Whats worse, he gets replaced, or his product gets devalued so much its not even worth owning anymore?

The West is LOADED, sorry, JDM you are a typical Homer :P I say that because you know its true. Its ok, im a Patriot Homer I know dem FEELZ.

No team in the west is SIGNIFICANTLY better than the other. They can ALL beat each other. I dont really think anything would be an UPSET, even if Dallas beat the Spurs, or if MEM beats the OKC. I dont think its an upset.

Clippers have not looked great, they have looked beatable. I dont believe in their bench as much as you do, because while its deep talent wise, it also is comprised of a bunch of has beens and injury prone guys:
    Grainger
    Dudley
    Crawford
    Reddick
    Barnes

Those are all good PIECES, but not significant superstars. Theres a reason JCraw has been on 13 teams.

I still believe the Clippers are the better team, but if they try to hang onto this Sterling talk too much, itll be too big a distraction for them. They shouldnt let his comments beat their season. they are in trouble, and they better win tonight or they are prob done.

I watch them play, i watch the TNT games, I know what they are. I know Doc more than most. They are BEATABLE. They are NOT playing championship basketball right now. The only team I see that is , is Miami(who hasnt played anyone), and Portland who doesnt play enough defense, but they score and have coaching. They are mentally tough

Sterling should marry a black chick, rape her sister, kill her dog, stab someone at a club, do a driveby shooting and tell a jury to kill themselves....

    That would be forgivable....

    Dont forget the aids
