He has a shot but the strength of his schedule is going to hurt him. Right now Boyd has the front seat but again, the schedule could hurt him.

    Other in contention:

McCarron will have a huge advantage because of the preceived strength of the schedule he will face and the fact that Bama is going to be in NC contention all year.

Manziel: His attitude and suspension(s) will make it easy to vote for someone else.

Braxton Miller: I'm not convinced he will be in the running for long. He just doesnt have the passing ability right now.

McCarron will get the expected to win penalty, people expect Bama to win so nothing McCarron will do will wow anyone.

Manziel is a douche and Bama will likely curb stomp them this time around, that will end his chances.

Ohio State plays garbage and will likely find a way to lose to some scrub team. That will end it for Miller.

I was torn between Aaron Murray, Teddy and Manziel. Manziel's douchebaggery will be the end of him, Aaron Murray's chances went out the window with that loss to Clemson. Bridgewater is a good kid with a good attitude. People will want to vote for him and his chances wont be interlinked with a perfect record or title expectations.

McCarron isnt going to be hurt too bad by being expected to win unless someone else really steps out.

We are in agreement about Manziel. I have never wanted to see a kid get hurt until him. I want to see him squirming on the ground.

Murray still has a chance but hes going to need to really light it up.

Bridgewater may turn to a media darling which will help him in a major way.

OSU's schedule is nothing to brag about, but its not as bad as you may think. In fact, I think it is on par with Clemsons.
