    Default Official Playoff thread...

Looks like Detroit will be playing at New Orleans and Atlanta will be playing at whomever wins tonight between Dallas and NY Giants. On the other side of the coin, Pittsburgh will be at the Mile High City with Cincinnati playing at Houston.

I predict it will be New Orleans, Atlanta, Pittsburgh and Houston moving on. Later, QD.

    I agree.

This works out in the falcons favor as I would not want to play new Orleans now.

Hopefully Detroit can beat them up pretty bad, or even win.

If Detroit wins I think we play green bay IN LAMBEAU LOL

Falcons in -30 degree weather outside hahahahahaha

    You're smoking crack.

Superbowl - new Orleans vs ravens

    New Orleans is champ

And I hate to say that LOL. Denver isn't beating Pitt IN PITTSBURGH. The rest of your picks are plausible, but patriots can't beat any decent defensive team.

If I had to pick one team it has to be NO right now, they are healthy, and have the mojo

    Exactly.

Being that Denver and Pittsburgh won't be playing in the Steel City, that would be impossible. But the Broncs still won't win in Mile High. Later, QD.

You tell me im smoking crack for picking Denver over Pittsburgh then proceed to tell me Denver stands no chance of beating Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh.... well? maybe not.... but theyre playing in Denver. Steelers are littered with injuries. The only thing predictable about the NFL is that its unpredictable...... if you pick your bracket based on what is suppose to happen, you have little chance to be right. Pittsburgh is the most banged up team in the NFL, theyre playing on the road vs a team with a good defense. Seems like a reasonable pick to me.

Giants stand no chance of upsetting a better team??? ok...... i shouldnt have to say anything to a Patriots fan about that.

    Ravens superbowl........... Joe Flacco.

I'm sticking with the Patriots this year..... if any team has an xfactor its the tight end play of the Patriots. It's nearly impossible to cover 1 great tight end... the Patriots have 2 great tight ends.... Tom Brady throwing to a big skilled possession tight end with a linebacker covering him..... COME ON!!!!!!!

Agreed... I can't see Denver taking Pitt unless a wayward NASA satellite kills the entire team in the first quarter.

I thought Denver is playing Steelers IN Pitt?

Ooooooo Denver is division champ, Pitt is wild card. That's bull shit LOL

Still can't see Denver winning. Can't see PATS in Superbowl they'll have to go through ravens/Steelers

But falcons will have to go through packers ,saints, niners, lions ......ouch

you'll have to give me some points or odds, i'm clearly picking against the grain on that one and only doing it because of Ben and Mendenhall's injuries... otherwise i'd have the steelers as AFC champs.

I'm just happy Atlanta got the Giants, makes a 1st round win very possible. Imo atl is definitely the better team.

I think the Falcons can take the Giants, They are 8-8 and the falcons are 10-6, Our best shot at moving up in the Play Off's was playing the Giants before we have to face New orleans, with any luck Detroit will beat them!!

Pittsburgh over Denver. Rashards injury will have a minimal effect if Redman can lock up the fumbles. Ben looked like he had much better movement this week and it will only get better after another week of rest.

Denver's horrendous offense against the number one pass defense, number one overall defense, and number one points allowed defense? Come on....

Do you actually think Denver will win? Or are you just saying that because you want them to?

i do WANT Denver to win, but its more than that. Just looking at Ben's injury, No Mendenhall, Polamalu comin off injury. Big Ben is 2-2 vs Denver and Denver believe it or not..... has had far worse teams than this years team. Even though Denver's offense is running like a Duramax that just filled up the tank with 93, they still have a solid defense and a good pass rush. Those are usually the ingredients for an upset. Vegas odds have the Broncos with a better chance vs the Steelers than the Lions do vs the Saints. It wouldnt be called an upset if it was suppose to happen. We know upsets are gonna happen, sometimes you gotta throw darts at the phone book to find them.

Troy coming off injury? Did you see him Sunday? He played exactly like Troy plays, jumping snaps and an interception. Plus Woodley is coming back. The only real hitch I see with the Steelers is Clark not playing because of his Sickle Cell. But Mundy is a capable replacement. I'm banking on the Steelers O line playing well against the pass rush since Pouncey and Legursky are both gonna be healthy.

Yea I want Broncos to win too.Their truly the underdogs in the playoffs. An big ben doesnt seem so big anymore. So when 4th quarter comes, its Tebow Time.

hope its still close when the 4th quarter comes around. If the Steelers defense plays as aggressive as they usually do, Broncos stand a chance. If they sit in the cover 2 man like the other defenses who have shut Tebow down, gonna be a long day

That's the talk of the game right now. Seems everyone has figured out shutting down the outside lanes and keeping him in the pocket. Which is where he cannot seem to function. Later, QD.

Looks like Roethlisberger, Harrison, Woodley, Keisel and Scott are all set to play in this weekend's game against the Broncos. And the Broncos will be without two running backs, Moore and Mendenhall and cornerback Allen. Later, QD.

predicting snow for the Broncos-Steelers game, gotta feel the nasty weather helps the Broncos, even if only a small amount.

I disagree. Tebow already has trouble functioning in "normal" weather let alone inclement weather. It's not like he's used to this.

I still see the Steelers winning this one. Later, QD.

Tebow passed for 3 TDs in this game and won 45-10 vs Florida State. That other "good" QB Christian Ponder had 60 yards and 2 interceptions.

Steelers SHOULD win... but the weather doesnt effect Tebow.

You're not shitting, man. What a force.

The Falcons are playing like your typical Falcon playoff team. Like shit. Defense is playing better than expected, but the offense is crap. Later, QD.
