He will be etched in that forever, seeing how he is the first and ONLY quarterback to be allowed by his coach to run a qb sneek everytime a real skilled player got them into the redzone. The point is half of his rushing touchdowns belonged to his back or mr harvin. Do you guys not realize that they won the title in 2006 before he was the starting QB, he came into the best team in the country...

And the lebron thing, i can easily tell you don't know basketball. The miami heats lack of a title this year proves nothing! Dallas is an elite team STACKED full of shooters and hall of fame players. For miami to get through chicago (best record in the nba) and the celtics (5 future hall of fame players in their starting lineup) says GREAT things about their future!

BACK TO THE REAL POINT..... we were arguing that tim tebow was/was not the best college player in HISTORY!

BTW mike.... tell me the amazing things tim tebow did that we will never see again! not stats.... show me plays! amaze me..... i watched him week in and week out, he NEVER amazed me... and to answer your question, he earned his championships at Florida but with the team he had, it wouldn't have took much to win after walking into the #1 ranked team in the country. And nobody could do anything against their defense, look at all the NFL talent from his years at florida.

To sum it up, hes great.... but the best to ever play college ball, get real!
You lost this argument when you said reggie bush was a better player in college...and also if they didnt have tebow there to throw the "real skill" players the ball they wouldnt have for sure won because without his double threat they are just another pass first team. Tebow was the ultimate game changer in college, defensive coordinators were sleepless in the week leading up to playing the gators because of Tebow, he was stopped very seldomly in college and once was by one of the most dominating defenses in college football statistically (bama). If you are gonna pull the "he walked into a national championship" team argument you can sure as hell say the same about reggie bush...for the rest of your list...Herschel Walker is the only one off that list that compares. Mcfadden...seriously??? He was good but he couldnt win a game for his team let alone a national championship or two.
