Sick of my iPhone 4. Getting a Android phone tomorrow. Suggestions?

As the title states. I am sick of my iPhone 4. Ive gotten shit service all week. Dropped every call Ive made and frankly I'm over the whole iPhone thing.

I'm an AT&T user so my options are limited.

I'm thinking of going with the Samsung Captivate Galaxy S.

Any comments. No I'm not switching service. I get a free plan through work. Just what Android phone to get.

Pretty much what i'm thinking. The only downside I see if the lack of LED light. And a bit less battery life.

Otherwise, getting the hell away from Apple is my main concern.

Not gonna trade straight out. I can find a Captivate for 300 bucks. Sell my iphone for 550-600.

Thanks for the offer. 3G service usually doesn't work with unlocked phones nor does voicemail. (Atleast my experience)

LOL, I'd love Verizon and a Droid X. However... You can't beat free. I mean... Its a unlimited Plan, unlimited text, call, interwebz, roadside... ALL FREE. I love W2 jobs.

How much are you gonna sell it for? Been thinking about getting an iPhone. I dunno if I'd buy an iPhone 4, but my impulse buying girl instincts might take over LOL

No it won't. If you don't know what you are talking about, then refrain from speaking. "4G" is a loose term and no phone can make its network go faster, speed is determined by carrier, not device.

iPhone will be for sale for 550-600 unlocked, in a case since day one. Mind you 4.0.2 software on 1.59 bootloader. Difficult to find. I would ad that if you get an iPhone, get a 4. The speed, video and features sell this phone.

I love my Droid X. Have only dropped a call three times with VZW and all three were at the same location by Emory University but you can't beat free.

Couple of recommendation:
1. Don't root it. My regular Droid became a useless paperweight after it was rooted. I couldn't view more than three site pages before the phone would cut off.
2. Tapatalk. Worth it.

What is it exactly that you don't like about the iphone? Just curious.......I've always thought they were overated but that's just my opinion.

I have a droid pro & it seems to do just as good, but I'm definitely not an expert.

thought long and hard about ditching the iphone & at&t but at the end of the day i don't wanna give up being able to call & surf the net at the same time.

Have you had any issues with your Droid Pro? I bought one for my wife the day they came out because she loved the BB keyboard and I convinced her to go Android. Trying to cross reference with another Pro owner.

Man but how many times do you actually have to surf and talk at the same time? I ditched my iphone a long time ago, overrated IMO.

I don't get this. I have a verizon iPhone and I can talk and surf at the same time.
