Your opinions are your opinions. Music changes constantly and will never stay the same. If it sucks so bad...how are these guys so damn big? Either way, I like Wayne and always have. Not all of his songs have meaning, but neither did some of the groups who even started rap way back in the day. Also, pretty sure he wont be put in too bad of a place in that jail...hell look at how long it took them to get his ass in there. Im sure his ass will come up with some way to record some shit while hes in there too.
I think some people saying all the new rap sucks only listen to that station. Almost every time im down there I turn on 95.5 just to see whats playing and it seems like the same shit over and over and over. Some of the artists on there have WAY better songs than whats on the radio.

I'm not too big of a T.I. fan, and half the shit Gucci talks about I have to listen to the song a few times before I catch on (seeing as to I wasn't raised around that type of slang, drugs, and that lifestyle). But Lil Wayne I like because I can understand majority of what he talks about. I mean the all mostly rap about life, they have some popular songs and some WTF songs just like all artists. I listen to rap, but I'm not elated about it because I listen to almost all genre's.

His mixtapes and his music are both actually very popular. He debuted at number 10 on the Billboard music charts with his State vs. Radric Davis CD just released in December. He's been doing pretty good considering he had a lot of mixtapes & underground solo singles to prelude this CD.

Highly doubt it. He's more than likely gonna be in isolation to keep him "safe" since he is a high profile person. Wayne's a good artist and works really hard to come out with a lot of stuff but damn if he doesnt get played out sometimes. As far as Gucci goes he has become a lot more popular throughout the past 2 years mainly because he focused more on catchy songs rather than all the "gangsta" rap he used to do.

I used to be a huge Wayne fan, still like him but not as much as I did. He does get played out too much now, even his songs I like still get played out. They pretty much all sound the same now with a few exceptions. BUT, with that being said, regular "rap" radio stations will be pretty damn boring for the next year without him. Just like when TI began his year off, radio became a lot more boring without him on a good bit of songs.
