    Default PS3 bluetooth?

i bought a madcatz version today , the package told me to charge it for 4 hrs prior to use and when the red light goes off it is charged , well i plugged mine into my PC about an hour ago and the light just went off do you think it is ok to use it now?

question is....... who has one of these? how is the clarity? or should i have spent the extra $20 and got the PS# brand?

I think it should be fine. Let me know how it is, I may pick up one.

recommend time was 4hrs , and it claims (light went off) it is charged after 1 hr? do you think it has to do with me chargin it on my PC instead of my PS3?

I don't know. They're both USB, so they should put out the same voltage. However, I believe most new devices like that don't charge after the light turns off, to prevent overcharging.

ps3 is weird with mics some sound so messed up and have tons of noise in the background, give it a try. The playstation one is the best but its uncomfortable, my xbox wireless mic is 100x better in every way, which is disappointing

this one is very comfortable and it "claims" to have a noise reducing mic

i don't see what would be so great about the PS3 brand...bluetooth is bluetooth right??? or are there more features with the PS3 brand??

i use my samsung BT that i got with my phone...works great, no issue. only thing i don't like is that i have to manually mute it when i am in a game lobby, seems like some do this automatically.

and don't forget about the PS3's echo cancellation settings...i never played around with it until i started running my sound really loud, knocks the feedback/echo right out.

the ps3 brand is a freak. i had 2 other sets and they were both motorola high points on the ps3 one is that it holds a charge for FOREVER and it can stay connected to what ever you are bluetoothed to ps3 as long as you stay in the house with it. i love it.

I have the PS3 one... it is good, but like others said.. it can be a bit uncomfortable (especially how it sits in your inner ear). You'd have to play around with the clip and 'mold' it around your ear.

You can also use any phone bluetooth instead.

One plus the PS3 has is clarity. Even when I use it with my phone (yes, you can..) people say it is pretty clear and good on noise cancellation.
I got free clear tails with my ride.....

ive noticed most electronics lately that have batteries to be charged come mostly charged from factory and the 4 hour charge is from when the battery is completely drained. And i think the reason behind this is because most batteries now need to be stored fully charged, otherwise it damages the cells and they wont last as long and may not provide the voltage required.

the past couple cell phones i have gotten came a lil bit of a charge , on another note , i bought the madcatz bluetooth , so far so good , as far as sound quality (on both ends) and it is reasonably comfortable and it was only $30 at walmart
