    Im not a big halo fan but it got my attention and im sure alot of you guys like halo anyway.



    Yes, the official title appears to be

    Halo: The Fall of Reach

    . It is currently being filmed in Camperdown Studios, Camperdown Road, Miramar, Wellington, New Zealand .

    After they crash-land on an artificial ring-world called “Halo”, a navy captain, his surviving marines, and a chemically-and-surgically-enhanced supersoldier named John-117 “Master Chief” must find out what the Covenant, the genocidal alien race they are at war with, are looking for on the ring.

    However, Halo holds more secrets than either side imagined.

    RELEASE DATE
    Apparently Halo will be made into a movie somewhere between 2010-2011, and Peter Jackson will be in charge. In July 2008, Fox purchased the filming rights after the project was halted in 2006 because finances were cut.

    I’ve scoured dozens of sources, some legit..some probably not and it does appear Halo should be released earlier than 2012, as previously thought.

    STARRING
    I can’t dig up who is in the movie as of yet, this seems to be a very hush hush project.

    Yeah the District 9 guy made those Halo live action shorts that came up on the internet like a year or two ago. But this Halo movie is under the wing of a totally different guy so I dunno how this'll turn out.

    the halo movies were pretty awesome! there could have been a bit better CG but as far as the short story line and what not goes its off the charts for me! amazing work! that short: HALO-RACE FOR ARMS

    Meh... Halo.

    After the first game, no care. If this movie ever really does happen, I'm sure I'll go see it -- especially if Jackson directs. But honestly, I could care less.

    Now... the God of War movie and the Gears of War movie that were talked about not too long ago -- That's a different story. I'm all over that shizz.

    i personally liked Mortal Kombat, the first one not the 2nd one. Also Doom and Silent Hill. I think street fighter was awesome because it sucked so bad it was great.
