I was hoping for the 458 Italia and the SLS AMG at some point during the series. I'm pretty surprised they got their hands on an LFA.

Enjoyed it quite a bit. I hope Buick makes a "Grand National" version of the upcoming Regal which will be like the Insignia VXR. That's quite a car.

Also, did anyone notice that he said CRV when he was referring to the CRZ.

I think they'll have a nice showdown between the 458, SLS, GT2 RS (if it happens in time), and LP590-2 (if it happens) next season. That would be a great comparison, also throw in the MP4-12C.

I really liked the Insignia VXR, that car looks great!

Ah the McLaren MP4-12C...I knew I was forgetting one. I'm pretty impressed with that car and I'd love to see how it moves, but I can't get over that name. I'm not a fan of letters and numbers. Also, I had no idea a GT2 RS was in the works. That'd be absolutely ridiculous.

Haha I think it's sort of funny and sad how they said, "Unless SAAB goes bust," when they were talking about the 9-5...they're almost dead. Spyker's looking at them now though.

Oh and the visual effects during the LFA piece were great, but a little overdone. Still very cool.

I think all those are still a bit new but they'll be on eventually which i'm taking from Jeremy being another season from the way he put it.

458 i hope to see next season. goo episode overall. when they talked about the LFA i guess it is kind of overpriced, when its compared to its competition.

That Lexus is so far overpriced it's not even funny. You can get a very lightly used Mclaren SLR for less than that and beat the brakes off that Lexus all day long. I'm surprised they have not touched the Hyundai Genesis sedan or coupe. I figured with the recession going on they would have done at least one show about cheaper alternatives to luxury or sports cars. I want to see the Genesis coupe in R spec hit the Top Gear track so bad.

As far as the Ferrari 458, it's become my favorite Ferrari ever and I haven't even heard the thing rev or watch a video of it. The numbers are on the car are amazing. 500hp from a NA 4.5 V8 with a 9000rpm redline. 9k rpm from a V8 is insane. I just received the latest issue of Motor Trend and the new technology and refinement in just the engine is staggering. Not to mention Ferrari includes a hp figure of +5 when above 200mph due to a ram air effect. Now that's just bad ass.

Another thing...it's annoying how Jeremy contradicts himself. He complained about the shift action in the X6 because you pull down to upshift and push up to downshift, yet isn't that how cars with real sequential gearboxes are? I mean he loved the one in the Ascari.

yea BUT your talking about a real sequential and i agree with him. I've driven similarly equipped bimmers and mini's and it gets annoying when u consider the fact that when you think of paddle shifters u think uve got one paddle that goes one way and another paddle that goes another way not paddles on either side that can preform both functions

The "paddles" are stupid but I mean...the actual lever where you pull down to upshift and push up do downshift. I feel like that's just the natural action.
