    Exclamation Boxing new !

Slugger will never beat a "real" boxer (don't take the word never to heart). Boxing takes both offense and defense (with most of the weight on defense). Look at most of the great boxers, they ran around and taunted their opponents or where great counter punchers.

The 1st person to beat Mayweather will have to be a defensive fighter, and make him get out of the philly shell. A slugger *cough*Pacman*cough* will not beat Mayweather. They will just beat themselves, and Mayweather will assist them
Im not saying that jumping around and ducking isnt a good thing ! But to me slugging it out keeps me on the edge of my seat.

    What ya'll think ?

I would be shock to see him go after PAC right now.. But they are putting pressure on the whole May vs Pac thing.. that who knows..
I think he will. But I dont think Cotto will do any better than the rest. Dont get me wrong hes a great fighter. But im ready to see him take pacman...

Well, Rick Ross hates 50 cent, and 50 cent is pretty close with Floyd, so I see the connection.

There is no point for Mayweather fighting Cotto. If he really wants to fight again besides Pacman, then its got to be Sugar Shane Mosley. That would be a great fight to see before Floyd fights Pacman.I want to see Manny and Floyd go at it now, but would boxing have any more excitement after the fight? Whoever is the winner between Manny/Floyd will retire.

Arreola lost the fight and was crying like a 5 year old. . The fight is not worth watching. Arreola basically walked into klitschko's hands.

Pac vs Cotto is the right thing to do.. Cotto is ranked #1? Right ? Not sure..

    But that fight makes sense..

Why fight Mayweather when he is not ranked #1.. ? Even though, I think Mayweather would smoke Cotto like chong smoking a joint back in the 70's.

Once Pac beats Cotto, then we will see Mayweather vs Pac..

And I hate to say this because I fucking hate Mayweather, but dude is serious.. Mayweather will beat Pac..

    Shame.. lmao.

Actually Pacman is #1 and Floyd is #2. Pacman just bumped him down one spot.

It seems like Roy Jones Jr. and Bernard Hopkins will fight in 2010!!! I been waiting for this fight for ages. Jones is currently 1-0 verses Hopkins. This fight should be their last fight of their careers.

i cant believe Haye actually fought this time after pulling out of his last 2 fights with the Klits. brothers. I have seen parts of this fight and the size difference was huge and this was a heavyweight fight. Now that Haye has a belt lets see if he unifies the heavyweight division which i highly doubt. I would be interested in seeing him fight Adamek in a cruserweight fight.

i heard rumors about this but dammm......this rivalry is insane, i hope they make it out alright after all is done. I got Marquez on this one although its too close to put some money up. Their trilogy so far is one of the best ones in boxing.

    Pacquiao-Clottey set for March 13, Cowbows StadiumPosted Jan. 10, 2010 at 05:15pm
    By RingTV.com editorsBuzz up!
Manny Pacquiao's welterweight title defense against former titleholder Joshua Clottey was finalized on Sunday, according to a press release from Top Rank, promoter of both fighters.

Pacquiao-Clottey will take place on March 13, the proposed date of the scuttled superfight between Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr., and be held at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Jerry Jones, owner of the $1.2 billion facility, had hoped to host Mayweather-Pacquiao, an event he believed would pack his stadium to capacity, around 100,000 fans.

The stadium will be configured for 40,000 for Pacquiao-Clottey, which will be a pay-per-view event.

Clottey (35-3, 20 knockouts), THE RING's fifth-rated welterweight, fought Miguel Cotto to a highly competitive split-decision loss last June.

The Bronx-based Ghanaian fighter's other two losses are a competitive unanimous decision to Antonio Margarito in December of 2006 and a disqualification to future welterweight champ Carlos Baldomir in November of 1999.
