Default PS2 HAVING TROUBLE LOADING MADEN 06

i have been playing madden 06 for about a month or 2 now and i just got done with my first season in my SUPERSTAR mode. Now my PS2 is not loading any games or practices in my new season. I put Need For Speed Underground 2 in and it did just fine. What might be the problem? oh and their are 100% no scratches on the Madden 06.

Same here, like after scoring a TD it'll freeze for like 2-3 seconds. Mine was freezing everytime I tried to go to practice on Superstar mode, so I quit doing that. My guy went from a 73 to a 96 in one season anyways as QB so I really dont even need the practice points.

Sounds like a game bug. Check the message board for that game on www.gamefaqs.com to see if other people have had the same problem

Might just be your ps2. After a while they start to get reading errors and u have to open it and adjust the laser position.

Use this site, once you get it open clean the laser with a q-tip and rubbing alcohol. Fixing your PS2

The main problem is that game designers are pushing the limits of the PS2's capabilities. I've read up on articles about this, because mine started that way, and then it just quit all together. The PS2 eventually burns itself up trying to keep up with the games the companies are producing.

My PS2 has long been in a trash heap somewhere in about 100 pieces, and an XBOX replaced it.
