The guy really is amazing. The crazy thing is Tyson gay ran a 9.71 and came in second. 9.71 is crazy speed and probably the best he's going to ever get.
He also just broke the record for the 200m with a 19.19. That's basically a duplicate of his 100m time which means he has some endurance and can run the 100m even faster than what he did. I would love to see him run the 400 as well just to see what he can post.
We analyzed Bolt's 100m run in my biomechanics lab today, and it is absolutely INSANE
The man has amazing form, but in all honesty his body should NOT allow him to be a sprinter in the slightest lol. He is literally a human motor. When are we gonna see B (bolt)-series swaps become popular in hondas?????
BY THE WAY
If you analyze his WR performance, the dude even drug his toe BIG TIME out of the blocks after his initial step. That just tells me he has a sub-9.5 time in him EASY. My Biomechanics professor (who has been analyzing olympic athletes in his lab for years) says the form is impeccable, and if he eliminates the toe drag and can keep his hips lower for another step or two, that he will see a low 9.4 100m with his current training level
I'd love to get ahold of Usain in our muscular biology lab and exercise physiology lab...talk about my masters thesis just being handed to me...i'd prob have enough info for my doctoral dissertation in a few years
