    2. I recall myself saying the movie was still pretty good.

    3. I understand that it hasnt happend yet but the whole california dies except for one family??

    4. How the fuck is a tool and hoses going to stop a multi-ton gate from closing???

    5. I think it should be more of a sad type ending than a heroic ending.

it was ok. The movie progresses slow and since I didn't get emotionally attatched to the characters I didn't get caught up in the dramatic moments...I personally wouldn't have minded if they made everyone die. It seems like hollywood doesn't like to end movies where the bad guy, or in this case nature, wins.

The driving and flying scenes were hysterically impossible, and they pretty much account for 80% of the movie. To me it was absolutely terrible.

i saw it yesterday, and i liked it! of course the action isnt going to be realistic because it hasnt happened, but who cares it was a good movie.

i also thought the same thing about the air tool thing in the gears. lol

also, how does a huge ass 50+ year old pos jet take off after like 100ft?

Movie was good but def more of a "Hollywood" style to it. Once the action kicked in it never really stopped until the end.

Yeah yeah, but did you honestly expect it to be good? Seems like one of those movies where you smoke a bowl before going in, and shut off your brain for the entire show. It's one thing to blow a movie outta proportion then come due-date and the shit fucking blows!

I was expecting - not realism, but a good entertaining movie. The main characters should've at least died along with everyone else.

I was expecting everyone to die as well...the fact that people lived after what should've been the end of the world only solidified the movie's mediocre-at-best rating, imo.

I think some of you movie-goers are still under the impression that Hollywood movies have always been and still portray REAL scenes rather than exaggerated.

IMO what would be the point of a movie if EVERYTHING is exactly how it is in the real world, such as a Limo NOT being able to run away from cracking Earth, or an Air Tool (or whatever) blocking the gears that opens the huge gate? We all know these things most likely can not be done so what would be the point in watching it on film unless it was exaggerated to certain degree for entertainment purposes.

That is what you watch movies for right ?
