It's just not going to happen. It's a real shame too, Fedor seems like a nice guy and a lot of people are abusing his kindness to make a living. Alexander gave an interview expressing his opinions about Fedor's management abusing his kindness and using him.
UFC is too smart to jeopardize their business for 1 fighter. M1 copromoted with Bodog, they went out of business. M1 copromoted with Affliction, they went out of business.... enough said.

M-1 has nothing to do with those promotions going out of business. Bodog was a terrible promotion that never stood a chance of doing anything good. Affliction had a chance, but it decided to grossly overpay its fighters and hinge its entire operations on Fedor's back.
I agree completely with both of you about Fedor. He is not willing to sour friendships and abandon his country and his fans around the world other than in the U.S. to "prove himself" in the UFC. I just hope his manager gets wise and doesn't insist on co-promoting the event with the UFC and allowing his fighter to get payed very well and get huge publicity for the remaining fans to see in the U.S. for the promotion of his UFC fights
