    Default PS3 Video Seems OFF

I recently got to play on a PS3. The color seems to be off on it. It's as if it doesn't have enuff colors or depth or something. like u r running the games in 256 colors. are all PS3s like this?

No, the PS3 has amazing color and video quality. Maybe the TV you played on was fucked up or the PS3 itself.

regardless if you got the ps3 free or not it should affect anything. check the component cable cords. you may have the cords mixed up i know that has affected my screen before. if not try using hdmi cords

are you using the regular AV Cables that they came with? the red/yellow/white ones. if so you need to upgrade to some hdmi cords.
