i personally like them...i just D/L'd all their CD's, its not something i'd sit around the house to but they have lots of good driving songs...and yeah i'm a nerd but i also like to listen to the 10,000 fists CD while gaming

just because something is a good (fill in the blank) song doesn't mean i think its "good music"....like i said, i would never listen to it just sitting around the house, i honestly don't think its super great stuff, just kinda give me a little adrenaline rush...

but really everyone has different tastes and i think he asked who LIKES disturbed, not who laughed at this thread or who thinks their music sucks

i just dont like how just because bands are played on the radio / mtv people automatically like them like they're the best new thing... and yeah i know disturbed has been around for a while .... but still theres so much great stuff out there...

people should just take some time out and find some new stuff on their own, rather than listen to whats being fed to them.

sure not all the great music out there ever hits the airwaves but i never understood the "anitradio" vibe that if something is on the radio it automaticlly is the band selling out and the music sucks....granted not everything on the radio is the best music in the world...but if something sounds good or bad then how does the radio come into play??

i like it when bands i like get on the radio (deftones, weezer, etc.)
i dont like it when a band ends up on the radio after being manufactured for that shit (disturbed, story of the year, etc.)

but for real...what band isn't manufactured??? some may be set up by record companies and some may be a group of 3 or 4 friends...just people who have "a sound" in mind, hopefully something that doesn't sounds like clinging pans, hopefully something that might appeal to people...is that really a reason not to listen to them??
