I agree, i want to see GSP fight Anderson or for Anderson step up to 205. Wanderlei moved up from LHW to HW to get a challenge he wasnt getting in his weight class, Anderson should do the same if he doesnt feel challenged.

    Man oh man...
    every single fight was boring/disapointing
Chuck went down in the first round and Silva...
Oh, square box with chicken legs...
I seriously don't remember when was his last REAL good fight.
The last couple I've seen he's just been toying with these gunts.
    Tsk, tsk..
I guess the only true champion is George St.Pierre!
hahaha, I mean the audience was actually yelling 'GSP!'

Wanderlei got his ass beat by Rampage. What are you talking about not getting a challenge from light heavy weight. Besides, you cant feel that way unless you have the title.

I dont care what anyone says about Silva's performance lastnight. He did what he could with what he had to work with. Thales Leites kept falling to his back trying to pull guard. I mean shit, Anderson was punching him in the thigh for gods sake. I wish I knew the punch count because Leites didnt throw shit.

I called that Chuck would be knocked out first round.

Silvas kicks are fuckin sick. Those side kicks to the front of the knee cap HAVE to fuckin hear all the shit behind Thales knee. He got a good 10+ of those. And EVERY SINGLE ONE connected..

Thales is a good ass fighter that just looked pathetic in that fight. GSP and Silva need to step up a weight class if they are going to get a good fight. You havent seen anyone dominate 205 like those 2 have because of the depth of talent, 170 and 185 have 1 elite fighter each then seval that are a couple steps behind.

I would love to see Spider and GSP fight. I do think Spider dominates GSP though.

I watched all of the fights over again. Liddell has a glass jaw now, you can't keep getting KTFO and still have that same chin you started with. I could tell that he trained hard for the fight, but he just coulnd't change his stupid ass style where he walks around with his hands at his chest, especially when its been working for him for the past so many years.

Krzysztof(sp?) did a beautfiful Kimura and his BJJ has been getting better since TUF 8.

Cheick Kongo is one big black scary man....is all I can say.

The Silva fight was all I was waiting for the whole night. Me being a huge Silva fan, watched all of his fights OVER AGAIN the week before (including the Muay Thai fights) in anticipation of UFC 97 and I have to say I was a bit dissapointed yesterday. However, that's just the way it is, Silva wanted to stand, Leites kept falling back every time he would get rocked.

All in all, I hope the Silva vs GSP fight takes place in Montreal, cause you know the lame ass fans sure as hell won't be chanting *GSP, GSP, GSP* when he is getting countered every punch by Silva.

I think GSP is one of the few people who actually can beat Silva. GSP is amazingly well rounded, and getting better every day. On top of that he always come in with amazing game plans thanks to Greg Jackson.

Solid striking, cardio, wrestling, bjj. GSP is a machine.

Well, Wanderlei isn't in Pride anymore, and yes, I'm fully aware about what happened in the first 2 fights, but Rampage has become a different fighter since then. What you said was that he isn't being challenged at 205. How can you say that he hasn't been challenged when he isn't holding any belt in the 205 class? In fact, He hasn't held a belt since he got knocked out by Dan Henderson back in 2007. NO WAY he isn't challenged @ 205.

Machine beats art in many cases. Take a look at Machida, methodical, technical, precise, cunning, and smart. Thats machine like, and he's undefeated.

Rashad will have 1 loss on his record to go along with his draw after that fight.

theres one thing we can agree on. WHEN Wanderlei WAS in Pride he wasnt challenged at 205 so he was fighting heavyweights.

I consider Machida to be more like Silva than GSP though. He is very evasive and always getting out of bad situations like Silva. GSP wouldn't be able to do it like Machida or Silva.

Cause there were some badass fighters in it. Regardless of it being boring to the casual fan, the fighters in it still have very good stats, I found all the fights worthy of watching. I didn't just go along with that cheap ass Montreal crowd and start booing. Sometimes the fighters just can give us an all out brawl. Not everyone is a Liddell or a Rampage Jackson. Silva was just being extremely technical in this fight.
