Another Braves home run. Talk about being off to a good start.

I saw Smoltz pitch his 3,000th strike outs last year at the Ted.

But, i was at Road Atlanta today so didn't see the game.

Great game pitched by Lowe. Suprised by him to be honest. Hopefully frenchy has turned it around. We might have a chance this year. Who played center last year?

Why did we pull Lowe again?? I know the first game of the year is kinda early for a complete game shutout, but the man pitched 6, 1-2-3 innings and now this notoriously wild and injure prone closer is throwing the game away!

Well, Gonzalez pulled it out, but not in a very convincing fashion.

Braves got off to a hot start but the bats still arent there yet. I will hold off further comment on that for about a month though as everyone still has to get up to game speed.

Lowe looked good. He was throwing strikes and he was throwing ground balls. The bats need some more work despite the hot start as they got ice cold after the first couple innings.

Gonzalez.. is borderline terrible. im not sure if he understands the strikezone or not. he was clearly aiming at the umpires head a few times and the dirt the other times. He pulled it together but i thought we were gonna blow another one when ryan howard stepped up to the plate with the tying run. hopefully things will be better on the closing end.

Gonzalez got lucky on those last two strikeouts. Howard swung at an ugly pitch with a 3 ball count. I'm nervous whenever Gonzalez comes into the game.

I believe they will do good this year, this is Chippers 14th year with the braves and im sure he wants another world series so maybe with a little motivation he can get the bats around, also with the help of Jeff and Brian it should be a good season to be a braves fan after last year.

1st pitch homer, something else, chipper single or double or some shit and chipper home run. Too tired to look.

nice, 8 runs in 2 games to start the season.

looking at scores from all over the league, it looks like all the pitchers need to get back in the groove. There have been A LOT of runs scored.

You're probably thinking of Josh Anderson who got traded to the Tigers.

He was out of Minor League options with the ballclub. He would either have to stay on the roster or clear waivers to back to AAA(which he wouldn't have done). Wish we could have kept him for depth, but such is life...

Looks like Mr. HGH hit his second home run of the season...lol

Yeah, it was pretty sad. 3-4 different relievers, all those walks, hit by pitch, 4 singles. It was sad.
