For sure I'm getting this game for the PS! If you've seen the IGN Review; this isn't a horror game like the previous versions. It's based on the action/2player thesis! You won't be disappointed in how fun it is to play it with a partner but you will be disappointed in not feeling scared! Btw; I wouldn't recommend getting the collector's edition! There's nothing valuable except a metal casing for the game which is the closest thing to *above normal*. Besides, it's Freaking $90bucks; $10 more then SFIV's collector's edition was!

I like it too, but think co-op is gonna be better. I only played up to the execution part, but so far I like it.

I have it and STILL haven't opened it to play. The gamestop around me was close and the line was only filled with about 20 heads. I got mines by 12:20am when they opened the doors at midnight. I'm waiting on any buddy of mines to come by and play with me rather then play with the cpu. It's funner and more interesting.

I've had it since last week and I tried playing single player veteran and it is damn tuff. So my gf and I are going to beet it 2p co-op next week. The game overall is bad ass. I never really got into the previous re's but this one is just fun. The players move a little slow but the game play and graphics make up for it.

picked mine up after class tonight, so I just started it not too long ago. Just got past the part in 1-3 where the truck driver comes at you on the bridge. Love this game!

PS3 here. kinda regretting it, but then again i'm not. All of my friends are on 360 and they're probably playing the shit out of it right now, but I played it on 360 and hated the controls so much.... Playstation controls are so much better IMO. Plus, my 360 is the pre-HDMI version, whereas my PS3 is rockin' teh sexy HDMI goodness

this game shouldn't be about graphics. what happened to enjoying a game for it's story? that's what capcom has done, is told a story. so fuck graphics.

and for the record, ps3 has the best graphics. killzone 2 makes all xbox games look like shiny cardboard boxes.

At least 75% of the money they make off it will be xbox sales. Ps3 has good graphics but in this case 360 looks better so when your playing it on your ps3 thinking to yourself that the graphics couldn't look any better, think xbox. The story and everything is the same on both systems.

i bought this game for the story, nothing more. when it came to RE, i never cared for graphics. and i still don't. good graphics don't always mean good gameplay. but to each their own. as far as sales go, most people have a 360, so yeah more sales go to them. but real resident evil fans know where the game started, and will stay true to how it should be: on a PLAYSTATION.

Yeah I have found the first 2. You have to get on a roof(can't remeber where at off the top of my head) and shoot across into a window for the 2nd one.

it just reminds me of them alot, haha another guy came up today while they were playing at work (tough deployment), and he was off yesterday when i was saying it was like tomb raider, and he was thought it was a new lara croft game too. the way it plays and looks reminds me of them. then today they got to a new part where they were fighting the monster on the boat or whatever and that was almost just like kraken on resistance 2, along with the spiders that jump on you. im not saying its bad, its a good game, its just reminding me of to many other games ive played to want to play it myself.
