Default I want Roy Williams on the Falcons

We have a hole at safety, what are ya'lls thoughts? If anyone can make the most out of a player, Mike Smith can IMO.

I want TO on the falcons.. 2 deep threats and we would be able to compete now for championships with the team. All we need to draft is some defensive players and we are set.

Are you trying to say you want Roy Williams to play safety?

Man, I'm glad neither one of you are the GM for the falcons. You guys sound like Matt Millen

I'm hoping you realize he is referring to Roy Williams, the strong safety... not the wide receiver. Both play for the shitty Cowboys, but two different players.

I know who he was talking about. Roy Williams is also about 3 Big mac's away from playing MLB. We need our safeties to play in coverage. Plus, I'm sure Roy Williams will want a 'Pay day'.

The Matt Millen comment was about the OP's thread for Boldin, and LegendaryLegend's post about T.O.

we need to pick up T.O. for real. that would be hell trying to stop owens and white ( if white can hang on to the doggon ball)

Bah, jenkins is T.O at this point. T.O has the most drops in the past 5 years out of any receiver. I dont want that cancer on our team. He has destroyed 3 teams. I dont want the falcons to be the 4th. Roy Williams IS a safety so I dont see why that would be a problem? He needs to learn to cover better but I think Mike Smith could train him like needed.

he has the most drops but in the last 3 yrs he has the most td... point blank he is still a playmaker, 6 times . Regardless he can make a difference. 1st 2nd or 3rd reciever we can use him.

He's a big hitter, but he is one of the shittiest covering safeties in the NFL... I'd rather them draft a solid safety in the first round if Brian Cushing isn't available.

T.O has absolutely NO chance at getting a job here.. We have our #1, we don't need a cancer like that ignorant ass... He makes Randy Moss look like a choirboy.... Plus Randy is better.

He has the most TD's but he has DESTROYED 3 teams. I think Mike Smith could get the most out of Roy Williams and we could use our picks for Linebacker, O-line, Cornerback

just cause you get burned doesnt make you a bad back, happens to every player. its more about the type of plays called which puts players out of position, i played the game before so im sure about this. i have played with some fast guys, but that means nothing if they are not put into the proper position to make a play.

So lets see.... First you wanted us to keep Vick... Now you are saying we should have gotten T.O and Kellen Winslow? You need to move your allegiance to the Raiders I think, you would fit right in with there mentality.. You want the Falcons locker room to be like an episode of the Jerry Springer show? lmao...

hmm dont remember saying anything about vick, anyway we have no good tight ends so winslow makes since, T.O. is good, theres no denying it. since we have a so called "real" QB now, give him some weapons. jenkins is not all that good, and white is just above average.

We could use another good WR and TE, but have you followed them at all over there career? They are team killers, not by there production, but by there attitude and off field issues. I would settle for a more stable slightly less productive TE like LJ Smith or the TE out of Denver, Tony Schlechter or whatever his name is. We have a good cohesive team right now, we dont need any extra drama, we had our share in the 2007 season.

Mike Smith believes in a 'Run first' offense. Why would the Falcons be dumping a bunch of money into WR's and TE's(Who can't block)? Especially when we have a perfectly capable set of receivers...

He's sitll like 27. Not a matter of losing a step. Its a matter of someone needing to teach him to cover.

man you all are crazy talking down on T.O. like he would not help the falcons out. he is better than white or any receiver we have. owens is a proven playmaker and there really is no disputing that. feed him the ball and he will deliver, sure every receiver drops passes, but majority of the time when the ball is thrown his way, he delivers.

Matt Ryan does not need T.O bitching everytime the ball goes to White or Jenkins. We dont need receivers unless its Boldin. Williams would be a good addition IMO

above average? White is a Top 5 WR in the NFL right now. Fitzgerald, Boldin, Smith, White, Moss.

I like where you're head is at...atleast it's on defense this time, and not another WR.

I don't know if Williams is what the Falcons need though. In a cover 2 you need almost interchangeable safeties (both safeties need to play coverage), and like I said before...Williams is a few pounds away from playing LB. Plus, he'll want his pay day.

I would like to see them sign a big tackle. I think that will help the entire defense. If you got guys on the d-line pressuring the QB it makes life easier on your D-backs. If you got guys on the line who can disrupt a backfield, it leaves your LB'ers open to make BIG plays...

If he is still there, and I think he will be, Falcons should take Jenkins out of OSU. It would give them someone physical enough to play safety and has the skillset from his time as a corner to step into coverage. It also gives them the flexability and depth of a player that can perform at 2 positions if someone goes down to injury.

The Falcons don't need T.O. he comes with too much baggage and always gets mad if he doesn't get the ball. We need help in DEFENSE, but Roy Williams isn't something we're looking for unless he goes OLB, we need help in the TE, OL but they're alright. But our main concern should be DEFENSE. Thats just my opinion though.

I asked for a "Sports" section, maybe we will get one. I know we could whore it up. I think Williams can be taught to play coverage better. And we need linebacker in the first round, Cornerback in the 2nd round. and DL in the 3rd round.

We most definitely can! And yeah he probably could be taught how to play better coverage, I say we should draft linebacker, DL then cornerback...our cornerbacks aren't great but they're almost decent. But we need a REAL play maker on defense other than John Abraham....he's starting to get old and getting injured a lot easier.

I stand by my original thought that you can't teach speed to him. Thats his main problem in coverage is he can't keep up.. That was the main problem with Lawyer as well, he could stop the run and was a solid tackler, but god help him if he had to cover someone.

A DT will make the jobs of our seconday and linebackers MUCH easier.

Edit: Anderson needs to show something this year. He's been a warm body taking up space/cap room for the past two years...

They are talking about moving anderson inside to DT which IMO would be good. He gets tackles just not sacks. Use him to occupy blockers and let davis and abraham work off the edges

You didn't have partial nudity before....she was dressed.

But anyways, I thought we signed Foxworth to a 2 year deal last year. hmmm oh well, then we do need to up our CB. IMO Matt Ryan is a great QB, but they're just not ready to start letting him go crazy with his arm yet, that's why they signed Michael Turner, to take pressure off of Matt Ryan.

Mike Smith is a conservative coach so he will rely on the running game heavily no matter who is running the football.
