Default Best Version of "Enjoy The Silence" - Vote 4 Ur Fave!

Ok, so I love the song "Enjoy The Silence" by Depeche Mode. I also love many of the covers out there that have been done of the song. Some covers I like more than others. I am curious to see what the rest of you think. Take a moment when you have time to listen through these choices I put forth to you here. Now these are not every cover ever made of the song, but these represent the more popular ones that have been made.

    So, listen and vote......

Thats gotta be one of the most covered songs ever. I've heard an acoustic one that was very good. No Use For a Name did a good punkish cover, I'm biased towards it because it got me to listen to the original when I had dismissed Depeche Mode as crappy 80s gay dance club music (which it really is. . . .).

Sean, the Linkin Park version is a really good remix of the song, one of my faves for sure.

I'm going to hold my vote until more people vote. I know which is my fave and just want to see if anyone agrees with me.

It's the only one I knew of before, lol. I saw the thread title and really didn't think it would be there. The rest of the album it was on sucked pretty bad though.

It was on the re-release of The Caitiff Choir, as well as The Master's of Horror soundtrack.

I liked HIM's version the most, probably because pinch harmonics make me wet, but I was partial to the piano version by Keane. If you took the guitar and vocals from HIM and Lacuna Coils version and added in that piano bit from Keane, as well as the beat from David Guetta's house mix you'd have something pretty epic.

It Dies Today's version was pretty average if you ask me. The vocals were mediocre, and the guitar tone sounded weak. Seemed like a cheap scene rip off, with a cheap scene music video.

Wasn't on Sirens at all, and there was a cd/dvd re-release of TCC a while ago... had different cover art and whatnot.

I finally posted my vote. It seems it was all pretty close across the board as I kind of expected given how diverse the community here at IA is. I am a huge Lacuna Coil fan and so their cover is my all time fave.

A big thanks to all who voted in my poll. I'll slap another up at some time or another.
