    At the end of the day for all the biitching we do about the rice and the unrealistic scenes and scenarios, it's a movie meant for entertainment and it accomplishes that.

    ^I definitely wouldn't mind owning one, but they are by no means "sharp" looking (imho).

    The movie looks entertaining. Maybe this has alreayd been addressed in another thread, but does anyone think that it's funny they just dropped the word "the" in the title.

    Yup same begining scene from the first movie minus a big rig haulin dvd's to it haulin gasoline. Instead of riced out neon lit civics for an old muscle car ... :jerkit:.

    I never saw the 3rd one. I'm not going to lie, I waited in line to see the seconf one. Me and all my ricer buddies parked our riced out civics, integras, and preludes in front of the theatre and revved up for about 2 hours after the movie. Man it was so lame. Looking back I see that we were hardcore tools. My car wasn't so ricey, but some were really lame. I guess it was more in style then...

    actually the 3rd is not bad...MUCH better then the first two....

    part 2 was worst out of the first 3 (but again i didn't expect it to be an oscar winning movie)...i wanted to shoot Tyrese but he redeemed himself in Transformers.

    I'm gonna check it out...doesn't look that bad; I think after the 3rd one they realized that they shouldn't put AS much rice in the movies. I think i saw the new 09' STi in there too.

    I am sure the RS200 is either a kit or they destroy it in CGI. F&F has a tradition of re-using vehicles from other movies (Diesel's Charger is also driven by Wesley Snipes in Blade) and using kit vehicles. I read an article about how they created the effects for the first two movies. Most of the shots you see that don't show the wheels are done by hauling the car on a dolly or a trailer. Less actual driving is done because its safer/easier to film things using trailers and dollies.
