PS3 VS. 360 Round 2

Ok I now have both and so far other than MGS4 and GT5 there is nothing special about it.

Things I don't like about PS3:
Can't listen to Music during game
Some games require separate accounts to play online
Online play gets really laggy really quick
Cost of Add ons is ridiculously high compared to 360
Can't have private chat's and do other things like play games surf the web


Things I don't like about 360:
Can only Either stream Music or Rip music off of a CD
Lack of motion sensor controllers

My overall impression of the PS3 is that it seems like Sony took all the good things about the other systems and then kind of IDK half assed it. It's not a bad system but as others have said the online play on PS3 really isn't a comparisson to 360

Yea I do. I got it like a month ago but really havent had much time to mess with it. As far as I can tell though you also can't play games and private chat either.

Depends on how you look at it really, it's not an argument worth having. Personally I choose PS3. MSG4, Socom 4, GTA5, and GTA4 are the only games I'm really into/looking forward to, and I really don't like Halo or Gears of War which is what every dumbass 360 owner uses as an argument because they don't realize not everyone blew their load on Halo 3. You break it down to the actual system, which creates a respectable argument. The ps3 just has more of what I want with Blu-ray and the much better game selection, but again this is all imo.

Exactly, but the games 360 doesn't/won't have would make it pretty much pointless for me to buy one. The selection is close, but if I bought a 360 I would just be pissed as **** that I couldn't have those games because those are the only ones I'm really interested in other than GTA4.

cause it all comes down to games and 360's 1st part games have been amazing,plus xbox live,is one of the greatest things to happen to gaming

now,i had a PS2 and loved Socom 1 and 2,still think thier the best online games ever,and cant wait to get my hands on the new one

but in the end a very tight race between PS3 and 360,it means us the gamers..win =]

I currently own a Wii and 360.

I love the 360, I love XBL, and I love the controller.

ps3 is 10x better and I have both systems and if you full use the ps3 capabilites you won't have a problem

1. I heard the older systems are failing. Ive owned 2 360s in the past and none have broken.

george you are such a hater, I also have friends who have had to send their new gen 360s back. Also with programmers no using the ps3 to create games, the xbox can slide down the ail and crack. Sony 4 life sucka.

Actually I can say I like the PS3 over the 360. I own both systems therefore not biased due to only playing a system once on a horrible game or say it sucks due to a$$ kicking online. The only thing I like on the 360 is the game selection, but that's due to Microsoft already having contracts w/ game companies vs. SONY is having to re-assign companies due to the BLURAY technology. But I'll be back on 360 when Gears of War 2 drops... Also Halo 3 is horrible I still think 2 was much better gameplay wise but do have to give them for the Online story mode.

Also at times the PSN game servers can be laggy mainly on COD4 I have rarely had any lag issues on R6V2, Bad COmpany, or RFOM.. also you can message while in game (don't recommend it you'll get killed) and I've never had to make a separate account for any games on the PSN. Only reason why I have 5 accounts is because I like jumping on other names to mess w/ friends. 360 does need to change over to free online, sorry but we already pay enough to be connected to the internet why pay extra to play games online when you've already funded them through games and purchasing their system (IMO!)

Or you can mod your xbox360 with extra fans on the case so it doesn't fail. Just takes some PC fans and some soldering, and problem is fixed (granted your warranty is thrown out)

Also, lol. Xbox360 controls IMO are very huge and ugly. BUT hehehe you can mod a ps3 controller to work on the xbox 360





OH and xbox360 is going down in price AGAIN in september to $199
