    Default Starship Troopers 3

    Loved the first one, hated the second one, the third one comes out today. They got Casper Van Dien to come back as Johnny Rico so here's hoping it's returning to it's roots in terms of mass battles and what-not. The CG looks like it hasn't improved much. It actually looks a little worse to be honest. Still, if it's as over-acted as the original then it should be good. Just wish they still had Jake Busey with his neon green violin.

    Anyone else gonna go pick it up? I'm picking up the Blu-Ray Edition with all three movies on it.

    Yes and it was awful. I only picked it up because it was 50% off the $4.99 price at MovieStop so it cost me like...$2.50. I was worth every penny, but not a penny more.

    Really? Most fans of the book hate the movie.

    The book was excellent but the movie is nothing like it. I guess if you credit them as two different things then you're alright.

    Lol, just watched the trailer......... it looks like they are using the same cg as the first and second one. Special effects are pretty lame too. All in all it will be a interesting movie, only because I liked the first one.

    saw it a few weeks ago, it was pretty stupid
    especially towards the end
