    Default Before Batman 3...............

    So now there is a huge rumor that before Batman 3 , they will do "THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS" story from Frank Miller.

    The internet is a buzz with the following posters finding their way around different forums convienently after the Dark Knight opening weekend.




    Remember in I AM LEGEND there was a reference to Batman/Superman movie in Times Square:



    The release date for the film is apparently 15 May 2010, although despite fanboy speculation that the image might be a viral marketing play for a long-awaited Gotham-Metropolis hook-up, Moran reckons it's "just a sight gag from producer Akiva Goldsman who was at one involved in the Superman/Batman movie project which has been stuck in development hell for some years now".

    Both Christian Bale and Brandon Routh have both said publically that there was a clause in thier contract about a supes vs b-man movie… and considering this movie takes place in 2010
    With the passing of Heath and the Batman 3 script not even in development, and with the future of the franchise unknown, now would be a perfect time to do a Batman/Superman movie to take the focus off of Batman. They could do a storyline involving why Batman disappeared , etc.

    Its probably all talk and speculation, but i thought it was cool

    this would be absolutely baller..if its all like dark knight was...its gona be sick..they should eventually do the justice league

    i thought this was the whole point if the upcoming avengers movie

    i'd have to hear the story line before i would actually say i like it, i've never been a superman fan... always seem too weak to me... like... (kryptonite, this super rare rock from a trillion miles away ALWAYS seems to be QUITE accessible to all criminals... kinda seemed pretty retarded to me) but if its going to be good it'll be good regardless

    I hope this doesn't happen. Batman Begins was leaps and bounds better that Superman Returns (haven't seen TDK yet, but I hear its living up to the hype). The Superman aspect would just drag it down. The new Batman movies are serious, dark, and somewhat based in reality (not focused on supernatural). Superman Returns was none of these things. Hopefully this is just a DC fan's wet dream and not something actually going to happen.

    It would be like teaming up Jason Bourne and John McClane. I like both of them, but they just don't mix.
