Game rocks.. Beat my first team FCS Southeast (cupcake obviously) 111-0. I just may have to bump up the difficulty... but I'll have to wait and see how a top 10 team does, but ya, game rocks big time.

Just Madden similar to NCAA? So wouldn't you get bored with that just as quick?

Anyways, I going pass on this years NCAA because I don't have a system anymore (sold the 360 for focus more on school ). Hopefully they increased the difficulty this year because I was blowing out top 10 teams on Heisman.

The game play is similar, but the rest is totally different. NCAA has an ass of teams with an ass of players I don't know and don't feel like keeping up with. Madden has 32 teams and I could probably name every starter on each team off the top of my head. Plus drafting is way less complicated(and boring) than recruiting IMO.

Second note, your right... Difficulty last year was way easy.

That's the selling point to me. You had to truly build your team. I used to recruit fast WRs and change them to DBs. Then redshirt and let them develop. By their senor year majority of the time their rating were 90+. I had one season where my whole starting secondary were 99 by the end of the season LOL. I like the idea that a nobody can become a somebody on the game. Stuff like that made me like NCAA more than Madden. Plus, I used to get tickled every time I saw my team (GT) at the top of the recruiting class.

I enjoy college football much more, so NCAA is much more fun to me. oh and this game would be the only spot you would see GT at the top of anything.
Go Dawgs! It was nice to see UGA already ranked at #1, saves me the trouble of having to work up the rankings.

Bottom of the line, it's more exciting to play with players like Randy Moss that I watch on TV every week rather than HB #35 that I only hear about when draft time comes around.

    i agree.

I wish they put the players names in there and then brought back classics, like playing with Steve Spurrier's Gators, Herschel's Dawgs, or the old Bear Bryant Bama, now that would be sick.

The developer cannot put college athlete's names in the game. There are plenty of 3rd parties that make rosters for it though. Plus EA made it real easy now so you can share rosters on Xbox live. I had a FULL named roster 15 minutes after the games official release.

Plus this year they have the ability to share rosters on Xbox live, sooo basically 10 minutes after the official release, I was able to download a roster that had actual player names for the majority of teams.
