they were mainstream but some of them were still good. a lot of bands were over rated in the 90's as well as pretty much every band is over rated today.
i do have to say i honestly like quite a few of the rock bands in that article but they were mainstream. as far as that nirvana **** in the article goes, im glad dude shot his self or got drugged or whatever happened. his music sucked.

Apparently you have never heard of lets say star 94, q100, hot 1079 or v103?? They actually do play alot of old stuff (v103 on sundays especially)
