Its too bad Rice only got to play 12 games when he set the record otherwise he'd still have it. Moss is a paycheck player he only wants to play when when he needs to get payed. I was a fan when he played for MN (I grew up in MN) but when he gave up and would stop running routs/blocking he left with good ridance. He's a selfish player and the record should be with someone better, on many levels. Congrats to the Pats though on a season well played.

Yup, still waiting to hear your thoughts about the record. Im not here to argue Im just stating the way I feel about Moss. I do think he can be a GREAT player- when he wants to play and he would have a bigger contract if he could control his attitude on and off the field.

Thats thing with Moss THIS year he's played a great game. He's kept his nose clean and played hard but he's so inconsistant season to season. His rookie season was great but thats because he had Carter watching over him like a big brother keeping him straight on and off the field. I just feel he is working hard this year so for his next contract or reneg of this one he will be set for retirement and will stop playing once again, once he gets what he wants he seems to give up. Hell maybe he will keep playing like he did this year and I could be wrong its just thats been his past M-O. I do enjoy watching him play when he does because he IS exciting to watch thats what I loved about him when he PLAYED for MN, he's very fast with good/great hands and has an amazing vert.

His past shows its all about him and it makes me sad when a record falls to a player with his kind of spirit for the game. The things he has done in the past are the kinds of things that are turning alot of people away from watching and enjoyng Pro sports.

Look to be serious anyone that plays in the NFL wants a ring and if they say they don't they're lying. So to say that Randy Moss is all about himself you think its an insult but really its a compliment. Really when it comes right down to it and you think about it in a business perspective it's smart. He is doing what he feels is necessary to get a ring and isn't going to let anything stop it. And really that's all the NFL really is A business with a bunch of employees working throughout the country all chasing one common goal and each individual should do what he thinks is right to get there. He said tonight that getting the record isn't special that shutting up all the critics is though. And he is absolutely right. I'm sorry the record didn't go to a "better person". But in the end he is a better person. He has the record Rice doesn't period end of story. As far as the things that he is doing making people turn away from pro sports :umno: . Anyone that doesn't like pro sports have the argument that it isn't about one specific player but about the league in general.
