PS3 VS XBOX360

going to get a new console for christmas but having a hard time deciding which one, ive played ps3 and xbox360 but everyone says to get the 360 but i'm leaning towards the ps3 more because of the blu ray and the graphics...

any opinions would be helpful....

i say it before and again. long term ps3 will be by far much better.
games coming out soon that are multi platform are being developed ps3 first and then ported to 360 and so you get a better version on the ps3. blu-ray is definitely an awesome feature.

i got a 360 and couldn't be happier with it... plus the hd-dvd player and 5 free hd-dvds. I'll get a ps3 though, too... because of God of War 3.
they're both good. just a matter of personal preference. don't let fanboys tell you otherwise.

while hd dvd can also give you a good picture, i strongly do not suggest the hd dvd add on for the 360. in comparison to other hd dvd players that one isnt really worth it

i say ps3, after playing my friends 360's and them playing my ps3, i definetly wouldnt want a 360, and they always got mad cause for 50-100 dollars more whatever it was at the time they could have got a ps3. price is much of a problem now so less people will being forcing them selves to settle for less and get a xbox. haha just halfway kidding, have heard a few people say the only reason they got 360 was cause it was cheaper

ive owned both, and now that the PS3 is picking up steam in the game department, they are closing the gap.

When it comes down to it, by the time you buy an XBOX, HD DVD add on, rechargeable packs for the controllers, wireless adapter, $50 for a year of online , the price is not that different if not more.

PS3 charges its controllers through USB (no batteries) , FREE itnernet thats wireless, decent size HD (XBOX Elite has 120gig, PS3 only has 80) , blue ray etc.

If you dont have a 1080P TV, the HDDVD and BLu Ray isnt that big of a deal IMO.

Im much happier with my ps3 compared to my 360

xbox has more games out right now and in the end will have more. The quality of the games is already awesome. ps3 doesnt have anything worth buying the system for. Xbox has tons of awesome games

if ur into HALO like me.. then XBOX360 but i would say PS3, the graphic is maxed out for XBOX360 and the PS3 has yet to start it and will come out more graphics.. and plus u can browser internet on PS3

I play Halo entirely too much to rock a PS3 even though they are badass. Where is the best deal going on for 360? I have heard brandsmart is 250 for the cheap one.

PS3.. blueray..40gb..wireless controller..internet browser - you spend 399 plus tax

XBOX360 cheapest system..279 at walmart.. NO INCLUDING WIRELESS CONTROLLER..runs you about 39 a piece.. HD runs you another 90-120 a certain places.. and no INTERNET BROWSER!!


why not buy the PS3 because it has the things that XBOX360 dont have and plus the graphic on the PS3 has yet to max out while the XBOX360 maxed out on its graphic.. sure it has more video games but games are created everyday.. its gonna come out soon so get something thats worth your money
