hell no to going to anystore after TG! i have the 60gb too, anything any dif about the 80 other than the fact that its 80gb? i dont really store anything on my but a few car pics, free game demos and previews and 450 songs. guess if i bought the downloadable games instead of the cd i would need more storage but i dont buy whole games and download them.

anyway im schugg on psn, ill add you

60gb is the best one if you care about backward compatible (playing ps1 and ps2 games). It could almost play any of the old games. It used chip to run the games instead of 80gb and 40gb use software emulator. 80gb can only runs about 80% of old ones. 40gb only plays ps1 not ps2. Check before you buy.

also heard 40gig doesnt play ps2 games, or does changing the hard drive fix that?

guess you said that already, i dont really play any older ps games so either way 60 gigs is fine with me.

No the PS2 reader is an additional component in the 60 and 80gb models.

tips yeah. make sure you keep the software up to date. It adds cool new stuff sometimes.

apparently some people dont know its a blu-ray player as well so if you tend to buy ur movies u can start picking em up in blu-ray. of course if you have a hd tv. or blockbuster rents blu-rays as well.

If you got a psp you can link em for remote play or later on loading your music, videos or any files u have on your ps3 from somewhere else.

    other than that. simply ennnjoy.

actually in the 60gb its a chipset to play ps2 games. in the 80gb its a software emulation.

so technically they could add ps2 gameplay to the 40gb anytime they want to.

Ah yes the 60gb is where it's at. I'm glad I got one now that I see a lot of people are over the Wii and some are trying to trade xbox360 for ps3s
