    Default ATLANTA HEAT DANCE TEAM TRYOUTS!!!




    AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:



    Must be 18 years old by the date of audition

    Must have previous dance training/experience *tumbling skills a bonus, but not required*

    Must provide one non-returnable headshot and one non-returnable full body shot (5x7 or larger preferred). Photos will be used for identification purposes. Professional photos are not required; however, pictures MUST be current.

    Dancers must have transportation to rehearsals, games and appearances.

    Must commit to the Atlanta Heat Dancers schedule, if you can not commit, **PLEASE DO NOT AUDITION.**

    Dancers must submit a stat form including your age, height, and weight.



    AUDITION ATTIRE:



    Dance or athletic half-top (stomach must be showing)

    Hot pants, dance trunks or shorts (NO FULL OR CAPRI LENGTH PANTS)

    Dance sneakers, tennis shoes, or jazz shoes with non-marking soles

    Flesh tone tights/hose or fishnets

    Arm warmers, leg warmers, shrugs, etc. permitted

    Performance ready hair and make-up



    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

    Showmanship, personality, energy and enthusiasm

    Professionalism and maturity

    Dancers who are well spoken and can represent the Atlanta Heat in a professional matter at all times

    Dance technique and style

    Ability to learn choreography quickly and efficiently

    Strong teamwork skills

    Ability to commit

    Physical fitness and personal appearance

    A maximum of 20 team members
