    Default GTR2 350Z N-GT PC screens (56k no)

This is fun sim. I wonder if anyone here runs it. The 350Z GT2 is quick. N/A V6. I also have a modded single turbo (on the right) that is crazy fast.

I never got GTR-2 but I still play GTR, it's definitely the best racing sim franchise out there.

I almost bought it but did some research and picked up rFactor instead. Thousands of mods and they're all free. Hundreds of tracks and cars to choose from.

Yeah RFactor is another great one. GTR2 and RFactor have the same base code. I want to pick RFactor up next and try the Indycars and F1 1979 season that are available free.

Here are some shots of that single turbo Z with meth injection.

    Getting air..

The turbo Z is sick. The silver n/a 350Z in the sim has around 450bhp. In this shot below coming out of that right hand turn I was right on the turbo's rear bumper in the silver Z. Flat out and look at him pulling on me and this is in the rain.

Yeah you should get it man. The version in the stores now comes with a free version of GT Legends as well. You can race the 289 and big block Cobras, old Vettes and Porsches, Lotus Cortina etc..

Some more screens for others considering the sim. Lots of value for the money.

    Ferrari 575 cockpit..

575, then a free download Firebird GT followed by a C5-R with a busted headlight..

Viper GTS-R (fun in the rain)..

    Lambo...

That's the one reason I want GTR2, Rain. No rain in rFactor, although rF2 is coming soon I've heard, and many people are suggesting rain be added.

Yeah my pc is 3 yrs old and runs it alright but I still have frame rate issues with more than a few cars on the track. You will need a good 256mb video card and 1.5-2 gigs of memory to run it well. I haven't been able to enjoy any full field races yet.

I pay for this bandwidth at Fototime and never use it so I am posting more screens..

    993 GT2 Turbo and 996 BiTurbo..

Not ingame but there are custom cars out there like the Turbo Z, 1150bhp 911 Turbo and 550bhp Lotus Elise for free download. But in game the setup options are very indepth. Fast and slow bump and rebound adjustments, front and rear wings, rear diff preload and power/coast settings etc.

    Monza in the Saleen..

    550...

Locking up right front into turn 1 at Monza..

You definately need a steering wheel setup to play this very well...but I guess that's any good race game on PC.

I have an AMD 3000+ and 1.5gigs of memory. Was running a 256mb Radeon 9800 pro AGP card that finally burnt up. I have a new Radeon X1650 w/ 512mb memory on the way.

I want to upgrade eventually. You can find some awesome deals out there right now. I saw an AMD 3800+/Dual PCI-E video card system for like $450 a few weeks ago locally.

You all think this setup could run it? I am looking at building my own, like I said, this computer is ONLY for this game, nothing else:

    -AMD 64 3500+ 512k cache
    -1GB of ram (2X 512)
    -x1650 Pro 512mb 16x dual out
    -160GB Western Digital HD 7200RPM

Would that run it? I want it running like top notch great graphics, fast game play, etc. Like a console system!

I am also looking at getting the Logitech steering wheel with the 6 speed gearbox, clutch pedal, etc. I have a spare Miata seat I might make a little sim thing lol.

Yeah Simon that will run very well. Rain, multiple cars etc. you will have a great framerate.

I have a 3.6ghz P4 with 2mb cache motherboard combo on the way. I can't wait to see how it runs then.
