They are fought because of their "gameness" (which basically means they never give up), their ability to withstand pain, and the fact that they are smaller than most other bully breeds gives them more stamina (larger dogs such as mastiff's tend to get tired quicker). There are many other dogs that are prey/dog aggressive that are not used for fighting.
Name the dogs and I will tell you why they dont fight them. 2nd pits are trained for stamina when people fight them, hince not feed them which gives them aggression but also helps their stamina. Mastif are big but dont fool you self they dont lack stamina, I understand where you are trying to get to,but 81911 needs to stfu, he is to young to try to argue his stupid point.
