    Default Anybody play Fighting games?

    I like to play Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Street Fighter 3rd Strike

    was wondering if anybody knew of a good place to play these games?

    i play ultimate MK3 all the time on 360...best fighter ever!!!

    3rd strike is at Mountasia on Barret Parkway. They also have Tekken 4 & 5, SVC Chaos, and something else..

    Arbor Place Mall's arcade, Time Out, has Tekken 5 DR, Soul Calibur 3, and SVC Chaos.

    Mortal Kombat is alright...it just has OD blood in it.

    Armageddon sucked though...no more player-specific fatalities.

    it might be worth it if your an avid fighting game player. Dreamcast has all the good 2d fighters on it

    Yea I've played them all. I never got into guilty gear XX. Im like a very hardcore MVC2 player I was top16 in the the world at MVC1 played in EVO (fighting game world championships) in 2003 and 04 but I just got my ass kicked I could never get to the top of my game at MVC2 but I still love it and im always learning.

    Ah, I see. I guess I just love it because I never had a Dreamcast, so I never got to enjoy MVC. It's probably the best 2d fighter on ps2.

    Eh, I think the 2D fighters on SNES were better than the ones on Genesis, except for Mortal Kombat. Genesis had speed, but the sacrificed sound quality and the graphics weren't as sharp as they could have been. SNES had a better overall quality game. A classic example is Street Fighter II Turbo.

    sega genisis=best system ever...i hope Sega gets back in making systems agian,they always did great system but then everyone would copy them and comeout with one 2 years later,like the saturn and PS1 or dreamcast and PS2

    I don't think they ever will, they are making so much more money making games for all 3 systems 360 ps3 and wii well 6 if you count the old ones. Just let them fight for position and make the games. But yea Sonic The Hedgehog 4 life

    MK on Genesis also had the blood code

    thats true but in the next gen systems the 2d fighters were always better on dreamcast the ones that came out on ps2 were trash

    Well, if anyone really wants to play, at Arbor Place Mall in Douglasville on Sunday night there's a lock-in taking place. 6:30pm-10:30/11pm for $10. Unlimited games during that time.

    DDR Extreme, Intial D V3, Maximum Tune 2, SVC Chaos, Soul Calibur 3, Tekken 5 DR, Time Crisis 3 & 4, Silent Scope, Ferrari Simulator, F&F Superbikes, and quite a few more.

    eh.... no beatmania no street fighter 3 third strike and no mvc2 I guess I need to start learning how to play tekken 5 and initial D V3 I retired from DDR and most those other games just dont do it for me
