I am cleaning the shit out of the inside of the car, then I will apply a coat of wax for the drive down because that will repel some of the bugs and trash on the road down. Then when we get there it will be easier to clean

what good will painters tape do. it is so thin it really doesn't help. people think it stops chips well I'm not sure if it does. What I use is bubble wrap that way a rock flys up and doesn't damage the paint at all. work for me all last year. just an idea.

i just remember back in the when kat (kathering ** blue widebody civic) used to put saran wrap on the her front bumper and ride out. brett you should have enough clear coat on your car to use the saran wrap. the bubble plastic would be extra nice. you can find that any uhaul or ryder place. good luck on the trip down and back. take lots of pics and bring home some trophies. later.

bubble wrap is a good idea....but the painters tape is more for the bugz yet it dose still help with rock chip...
