    well as some of you guys know I have a GPS right now and its way out of date...its like garmin's thrid EVER GPS unit they made....b&w no directions....very very basic!! So this afternoon I purchased a new one It should be here sometime next week!

    StreetPilot 2610 features
    - Powerful microprocessor for fast redraw and route calculation Built-in patch antenna with an MCX-type connector for optional external GPS antenna
    - CompactFlash data card (type I or II) slot for map storage
    - Audio and visual navigation instructions and warnings

    Routes: Automatically calculated with turn-by-turn instructions; Up to 50 stored; Using built-in basemap, routes include interstates, highways and major thoroughfares; With detailed data including residential street-level detail within metropolitan areas

    Voice: Navigation instructions and warnings

    Waypoints: 500 with name and graphic symbol

    Track log: 2000 track log points

    ust got the GPS in today, got all the software installed, put the maps on there from the southeast and set it up in the car....now to take a trip

    Thats a very cool unit. My dad has that in his accord and it worked great!

    isn't that the unit that hold like 100 point in a route, like you set point a to point b, but you can add like 100 stops between a and b.

    retail is 980 or so...

    Im still learning on it but i do know how to get it to direct me from point a to b

    the old one didnt have a mount...or atleast i didnt use it...i dont think i have one for it tho...

    Can you check on that? I have a little bit newer model than your old one. I'd like to mount it in tha CL-S. Mine has directions and map and stuff, but it's b&w. It gets the job done.

    its nice at night, it changes its look at account for the amount of light. I need to take some daytime pics too
