Man i guess cause im black , but the guy that pulled me over was too. Anyways i didn't get a ticket or anything but this is what he said,"I didn't pull you over for anything you did, but because you have a cover on your tag. Its a law that you can't have anything blocking the view of your tag." I said ok is that it? and he said yeah so bolted outta there and left my tag on. the police that likes to mess with me.

Yea I feel you Ron I got pulled over 1week ago too ... I passed a car that was going below the speed limit but legally using my turn signals and all at a quick rate and the damn cop citated me for agressive driving. I asked him when I passed was I speeding he then avoided the question and said liscence and insurance?
That cop new good and well I was not speeding when I passed the car ...he probably was trying to meet his qota for the end of the month.....

Tsk tsk Tsk....the scorn of being black in america .....i too...recieve that treatment ....a cop pulled me over and said my music was too loud...yet the day before someone stole my cd player so i had no music...i clearly pointed that out and let him know i filed a report already....he then told me and i quote " well, dont drive too fast next time or you'll get a ticket"......i laughed...he walked off....cant arrest me for laughing biznitch!!!

I have gotten pulled over before for the plate frame i had on...cop said he couldnt see the county i lived in...I was like what are you talking about, there are ppl that have "support wildlife'' (or something) there are ppl with college names there and there are some ppl who dont even have the county sticker on there.....I was then like how are you going to try to give me a ticket for that? after checking my ID and the car to see if anything was array he let me off with a warning...how gay! (not as gay as brett)

uhm, here's the scoop.

Cops use things like blue leds, tint, license frames, and tags to pull "profiled" people over. Profiling itself is illegal, but cops know as well as you and I do (be honest) that people with tuners are often trouble makers (burning out in parking lots, blasting radios in residential areas, etc...).
Bluntly put, cops are just pulling you over about those two little blue leds not because other drivers will ACTUALLY think you are a cop, but because legally they can pull you over for them...and then they can proceed to peek in your car, smell your breath, etc. It's an excuse to not be blamed for profiling.

In our perspective it's easy to shoot cops down for the whole ordeal (because we weren't doing anything wrong) but frankly I dont mind being pulled over and be hassled for 10 minutes if it's going to take one of these punks that gives our good rep a bad one to jail. Think of it as airport security. I have an arabic last name, so that "Random security" screening is anything but. But I'm willing to sacrifice 10mins of my time for a bigger cause.

My advice: be nice, tell the cop you appreciate his work and go on your way. I can speak for 90% of my team when I say "we have nothing to hide or worry about". (that other 10% is Travis, I wish he'd stop carrying that dildo around)
