Yes, the JL Audio will fit. Stock location is 4.5" deep and the JL 6W3 is 4.25" deep. Personally, that would be my choice if I was in your shoes. Kicker also makes the 6" CVT with the monting depth of 2 7/8". The Kicker will be close to half the price of the JL Audio.
