I found this response on another forum.....
Hybrid Audio Technologies is a protected brand and cannot be sold on the internet. If you buy Hybrid Audio product on the internet, it is considered gray market and does not have a warranty. Furthermore, it cannot be sold at less than the stated retail price; you simply cannot have the lowest prices around, as there is only one price. Finally, advertising Hybrid Audio Technologies products on an internet forum is in direct violation of Section III and IV of the dealer agreement you signed, which states:
III. Mail Order, Telephone Order or Internet Order Sales
By signing this agreement, Dealer acknowledges that it will be to the advantage of the consumer, the Dealer and HAT to have Products explained and sold by knowledgeable personnel in a typical retail setting. Accordingly, Dealer agrees to sell the products only to consumers who visit or have visited Dealer’s retail outlets. Dealer shall refrain from any mail, telephone or Internet sales of Products. Violation of this term will be grounds for termination of this agreement.
IV. Transshipping
HAT prohibition against transshipping of its products is intended to enhance the Hybrid Audio brand by protecting and strengthening Hybrid Audio’s authorized distribution network and maintaining authorized Dealers’ protects the public by ensuring that only authorized Dealers, who have the ability to provide product support and services consistent with the high quality of Hybrid Audio products, sell Hybrid Audio products to consumers/end users. HAT will terminate its Dealer Agreement with any Dealer who transships Hybrid Audio products.
Please remove the Hybrid Audio Technologies logo from your web banner, for you are no longer a Hybrid Audio dealer.
