Gotta come better than that if you wanna bash JDM parts.Your "counterparts" lack the quality of the original parts. For an example, Drag wheels vs Work Equip wheels. They may look the "same" to you, but the Work's are much lighter and stronger than the Drag replicas, and thats why the cost more. The same can be seen with slips and spoon rims, and every other rim that has been copied. Now let's compare headers. Let's take the Mugen header and compare it to any mass production header. It will out perform anyone of them. The only headers that can compare is the custom made headers (such as hytech, or rage headers), and they are in the same price range as the mugen. If you wanna goto cosmetic stuff, quality differences can be seen there too. Compare a real mugen lip to a replica, or a spoon duckbill to a fake one. You will notice a huge difference! Have you ever even seen "real" parts before? I hope so, because you talk like you are really knowledgeable on the differences between real and replica parts when you're really not.
What you guys don't realize is, it's not about how much you get for your money, it's the quality of the stuff you buy in the import scene. I would rather have a car that I worked on for 3 years with the top of the line of everything I want, than a car I put together in 6 months with ebay parts.
Last you bash about prices, but you can find JDM parts for about or slightly more than their replicas. The key is patients, but most people in the scene lack that.

Big- I wish I had slowed it a bit and completed a few things with little higher quality. Now, I am going back and fixing it all. If I had taken the time in the beginning I would not have to do the same thing twice.
