Did some minor cosmetic work today. The passenger side headlight was hazed over pretty bad, so I wet sanded, buffed, and polished it. I think I'm gonna do both of them again tomorrow as they are still not as clear as I want them.

The head that was in my car was a Y8 and I bought a Z6 head without a vtec solenoid. But the solenoids aren't the same so I had to buy a z6 vtec solenoid. The car will start and idle but will spray oil out the head. Should have it running in a week or so I hope.

I'm not seeing anything, but maybe its just my computer.

I bought some headlights and grill from masonhenson the other evening and they were in rough shape bout like my OEM ones. A little wetsanding and polishing and they are back to new looking.

Well got my civic running. My parts showed up but I ran into a new problem. Its idling at 3000rpms so I got to find the intake manifold leak. 2nd problem is my timing belt is loose so I need to tighten it. But its running.

I think its a vacuum leak but since the timing belt is loose I didn't let it warm up so it may have been the cold idle. Once I fix the timing belt I should be able to find the problem.
