Just got back in from the drag strip. 14.86 at 94.5MPH on shitty kumo tires all my interior and my system. I ran a 16 flat with the Z6 (non turbo) and the same set of tires.
I could have gone faster because the air temps came down really fast when the sun went down. To bad my car developed a vary vary small oil leak and they kicked me off the track. But I'm happy with the 14.86. Now its time to build another motor because this one is getting louder and the oil pressure is starting to worry me but hey its only money. Should be able to use a lot of the parts on this block on the new Z6 but the pistons will have to be changed for sure.

75mm JE forged pistons. There probably going to be no good when I pull them out. I got a nasty case of piston slap going on.(pistons are to small for the cylinder bore.)

Hey its got over 2500 miles on it with no problems(other than the piston slap) and is still running strong. Not to bad for the first motor I ever rebuilt. The next one will be much better.

put some new sleeves in n get it bored or u just gonna junk it? I smell a project motor simmering on the back burner:D

O I got a motor actually I have 3 sitting in my garage right now. d15b7, y7 and z6 blocks Just need the parts to put them back together. I'm going to pull my old A6 motor apart and see if the crank is good and use it in the Z6 motor. The y7 has had all the machine work done to the crank but its missing every nut and bolt. and the d15b7 is stock and runs good but it needs rings.

I have a full set of y8 headbolts... idk... but dang... I want a backup layin around myself, been lookin for a D backup, B to build and some no2 for now...:ninja: g'nite peeps
