I managed to squeeze in more glazing/sanding today. It should be in primer soon I hope.

And then I made it sit and wait as I help with some side work.

I am currently in the process of being a "slacker". I can not work in this pollen it is way to much for me. I'll have updates next rainy day haha.

    4/5/2010.

Pulled the car out of hibernation due to pollen. Rinsed it off and got to work.

Ended up choosing to keep the seam sealer but slightly sanded it down making it less nasty looking. I also finished shaving everything on the frame rails and shock towers. I'll finish up the fire wall in the next day or 2 and then the bay is ready to be sanded down and primed. I also got big plans for the front/rear crossmembers.

Not too much going on lately. I started polishing up a few things in my bay like my cross members and etc. I noticed I like my OEM tow hooks not those sick tight bobo aftermarket items. So I decided to polish those out as well.

I'll get pics up soon tomorrow of my cross member progress. Also the bay should be in primer/paint soon I hope.

Thanks, things are a little on the slow side lately. I've been busy helping w/side work for a pal and plus the pollen still is around and it kills me. The bay is pretty much ready for primer minus a few small things and I started getting some bay items ready for polishing. The cross members and my OEM tow hooks are first on the list and can not wait for them to be finished.

Started rear fender work today and I came across some light rust on one side.

I blasted it out and glazed where needed then rolled the rears.

Tomorrow I'll start on my front fenders and the bay should be in primer by Tuesday if plans work out.

Thanks, yeah it is from a can but it looks good as new and could not be more satisfied.

I also did the work on my bumpers so they are now ready for primer/paint as well.

I used Dupli-color trim paint it makes it look really good. I would not have used it if the dash were in perfect condition, I had to repair some cracks and deep cuts and planned to replace w/another dash eventually. But to my amazement it turned out way better than I imagined and well I might not source a new dash. If you prep it right it will not chip or crack or scratch off and I used just about 1 can.

^^^This build, so far, i'm really impressed with it... (Especially that finished dash pic) I always like seeing an EF/DA build/restoration. I'm about to start restoring mine, as soon as I get the new transmission put into it.

Well here I am.. the project after many months continues but very slow for now until it cool's down. I have done nothing but allow it to sit and rot more hahahaaaa.. I did recently get a set of wheels for a good deal. They will be refinished and get a new set of tires before I throw them on.

Here are what the wheels look like. Had SportMax center caps but who knows what they are..
