Default 92 DA Front & Rear Disc Brake Conversion onto a 91 CRX DX

Hey i just recently bought a disk brake conversion from a 92 da and was planning to swap it onto my crx. I have done some of my research and know for a fact that i need a 91 si e brake cable and a 4040 prop valve. I was wondering where i can get those or Do i really need it to begin with. Also what else will i need to keep and not need for this swap. thanks in advance!

Youll need the ebrake cable if you want ebrake, of course. The prop valve is necc cause of the brake bias difference from the drum to disc. It is possible to drive the car with the stock one if you cant find one right away.

The only places I could say are on here or at Pull A Part. Honda Parts Connection may have them too. If all else fails, the dealership. The prop valve is the same for any 88-00 Civic or 90-01 Integra that has 4 wheel disc brakes. As you know, make sure it have 40 40 on it.

Just order a 91 crx si ebrake cable.

If you use the da one then you need to make sure you use the 3 dr one not the 5 dr one with disc rear.

I've got an extra set sitting at the house for a da that is disc. That is what I used on my crx. They are for the 3dr car.

Are you selling them by any chance and will it work as a subsitute to a crx si e brake cable?

I could be persuaded since I dont need them.

Look on honda-tech for a thread on rear disc conversions.

As far as I know they fit.

I have the 3dr integra cables. and I have them on my rex and they work.
