Default HELP, crx not going into gear

ok long story short, i was driving perfectly fine today on my way home, got up to the light, light turned green and i stalled out, turned the car back on and noticed that my clutch was grabbin in a different position and it was really hard for it to come out, it would go in gear perfectly fine it was just grabbin in different positions, i was able to make it home, and as i was pulling in my driveway i couldnt get the car to go in gear. so first thing i did was take my clutch cable out to inspect it, while i was at it, i was able to move that lever that the clutch cable goes into easily with my hand

my friend told me your not suppose to be able to move that lever like that, does that mean my throwout bearing took a shit? or the actual clutch took a shit?

Be smart. Go ahead and replace the clutch, throwout bearing, free-bearing, make sure your linkages aren't bent and the rollpins are properly secured, turn your flywheel, and make sure the clutch cable is good, connected at both ends, and the pedal isn't damaged, and the clip on the tranny end is holding. If all of this is right, and there's still a problem...it's internal, and you'll probably replace the tranny.

    Just throwing out ideas...

it was my clutch cable, clutch is fine.

the plastic part of the clutch cable that mounts to the tranny took a shit. no clue why but the adjuster like broke so i wasnt able to adjust it, puta vise grip on it so it wouldnt move and it worked, got a new clutch cable the next day and now is working fine again, even better casue i can actually adjust it

Figured it was your clutch cable, but you said you inspected it. YOU SUCK!
